I've been playing for several hours over the last few days and upon starting up my save in Denerim today I find my ai teammates refusing to do anything unless I force them. Their tactics seem to be hit or miss, the only one working reliabley is my mages heal party memeber at 25% > health tactic. When I move using WASD they no longer follow me and must be selected and I need to click on the ground to move them and even with aggressive ai set on they will just stand there when there is a swarm of 8-10 bandits wandering about killing everyone. Any idea what would have caused this and how I can fix it?

Make sure you haven't accidently selected hold position. a small icon under the character tabs on the left or the default key is H.

There we go, I must have messed with every other option imginable and missed that one.

lol, yeah I only know because I was having the problem myself and thinking WTF!?  ... Not to mention its a little deceiving. If I remember correctly mousing over the icon says 'click to hold position' when they are already holding.

Sometimes it happens even without the Hold enabled. Sten and Alister are frequent offenders if you keep them in Defensive mode.
