 Im still new to the game and cant help wondering what weapons and gear look like later in the game.
Feel free to post some screenies

Im currently playing Mass Effect2 which i want to finish before i sink my teeth into DAO fully, currently have a lvl 12 mage,reason being i justt feel from early play that dragon age will offer more replayability longterm than Mass Effect 2 for me.

well sad to say but they dont look much different if at all really in DAO they were pretty lazy in the texture dept. and thats a very kind anwser.They did alot better for DAOA. the most enjoyable replayable game ive ever played, hands down. And ive been playing a loooooong time , first one was Pong so.....



But they dont have alot of different looks for swords they (mostly) look alike same goes for robes and the staffs . My first game lasted like 400 + hrs. But i played 6 games at the same time. Just branched off on saves ,making different responces in each game . i tryied to get all endings on my first game lol. Managed two full ones , then system crashed : ( FYI there are a few screenshot threads , just put in the search box . People get all bent out of shape if you post the same screenie twice . So just ill just tell you a screenshot thread i have. type in:

What character do you play? If you're a mage or rogue,prepare to be disappointed at the lack of variety. There are some nice plate designs however although really, more variety for armour would be beneficial for this game.

Admittedly, I am not "late-game" on this guy (level14) but here you go:

The Trailer Warden set -- only available through a mod and frankly, the stats a little overpowered. I hardly use it except for screenshots :

There are a couple of sets that also look good such as the Juggernaught set. I'll try to get a screenie of that one.

But the best looking gear is all warrior gear. For nice looking rogue and mage armor there are nice mods out there IF you play on the PC. Vanilla DAO is really lacking there...

ya i think the first mods to be started were more textures and more choices. man those things the mages wear are OMG.and sometimes ill get pollygons going and the colors get wild,but it still dont make them worthy imo. not to mention the bad hair options...

Hey Eucatastraphe,
it seems to look like the armor mod is not the only mod you might be using. She seems to be more ...shall we say top heavy, then i remember them to be : )

Edit : Thats not at night look at the shadow , thats the m ash dragon

I never noticed until now!
I am using the Natural bodies/Realistic Look mod as well, and I did not configure the female settings...Checked my mod manager, and it's set to "medium breast"... but you're right, her knockers look really huge

im just saying i could tell lol i use the same . The way the game should of been imo. first time i seen those scenes i could not keep from laughin. They almost got into gaming history then just choked. IMO. for the rating that high the option should of been given us i think. morrigan shows more just walking around dressed.lol

The worst for me is the underwear... IT' S SO UGLY!
It's weird how Morrigan has her shoelace bra when she's dressed then when she's making love to you, she has this granny bra on... WTF!

i know i almost cryed for bioware it was so sad and they had them drawn on so thick they almost made epic status. But they should of at least showed breasts. There is nothing wrong with breasts. At least none i found yet lol

EDIT: Thanks,  ya i just had to share that one with you all ,it did turn out good huh . It Took me over 2 hours to get that shot . You normaly cant get into the water that far.

Yeah, just visited Mountain Top and the lighting is wonky there.

urshakk thats from DAOa like i said from the start they did alot better with that game ecxept that whole rune BS. just another poor idea as a time sink. so how many runes are needed to make one of the best runes like 30-40 or something? Fine just sell the best runes for a bunch i would rather buy one at high prices, then do all that non game time , lol . And dont even get me started about scanning planets!!!!

Actually, its a set from Origins. I just took it with me in to Awakening and its the only file I have left of that character.

oh my mistake i was just going by the background. sorry . i had two finished PC's ,Cousland and a rogue. But lost both to a crashed puter so i couldnt import . Again sorry about that .

EDIT: Oh was that the set that had the boots missing to them ?
