Hello been messing around with the editor today and I am able to scroll around in the area view with the ctrl-left click method. But once I am in the level editor area I am not able to use my middle mouse to scroll or the previous method either. Am only able to use WASD more movement in the area and that doesnt cut it really.
BTW Im running Windows 7 with a Razer Diamondback mouse and there is no options in the mouse properties to change the button to click. Any help would be appreciated. As of right now I am unable to really do anything in the level editor. Thanks for the help.

the level editor uses a diff camera system.
you can pop between 3dsmax style or FPS (WASD). look for icons that look like a camera on the toolbar

Yeah I tried that also pushed the Alt and wasd button at the top and no difference in either. I am still unable to rotate the camera anyway I try.

I personally use the WASD config, and fly thru the level like in counterstrike after you die.
Holding middle mouse "swivels" or rotates, and then WASD just move in and out, and strafe... that isn't working?

No unfortunately the middle button has no response when pressed. I can zoom in and out with the wheel but no control of the camera.

i just opened the editor, and the only diff I can see between Alt and WASD is that middle button spins in WASD, and pans in Alt. regardless, either mode should still have W A S and D working, even if your middle mouse button is doing something fruity.
are those even working?
if they are, then you need to use the razor utility or whatever to bind a separate mouse button to act as middle mouse.
I use a logitech G5, and actually have "mush the scroll wheel left" as MM, since clicking the scroll wheel down is a pain. in the end, scroll wheel up and W and scroll wheel down and S are the same, so if your wheel isn't working it's no big loss.

Are you using Microsoft Intellipoint software?
If so, open up it's software, Under the wheel button option, set it to Middle-click.

I can get everthing but Panning to work. on flycam CTRL+ middle button spins it, and in wasd it moves it left and right, up and down. I need to be able to pan in so I can better see what it looks like.
Nevermind.
