As soon as I was able the first day of release I redeemed all the codes I had but I accidentally redeemed two separate (and valid) codes for the memory band. The memory band shows up in the game but it does nothing. In the tooltip for the item it just says "Ring". Correct me if I am wrong but isn't it supposed to have some sort of buff? Did the two codes bork my ring mayhap? Or do I just need to *prays he doesn't* reinstall?

It's the same with me, and I have read similar issues in other threads. I don't know if it works or not but I continue to wear it. Would be nice to get an answer from EA or Bioware on this, and even a fix would be nice.

zeos386sx, its possible that you got a code ment for one of the consoles, it could be that the site is just showing it in the wrong place....
<poster name>yes, i would say that is prolly what happened, the memory band is supposed to be unique at the beginning of the game so trying to put two of em in the players inventory might have broken the scripting that went along with that content...i cant be sure though, that said try to disable both of the rings force load into your saved game and save it again, then re-enable only one of the memory rings and load your game again if it appears in your inventory equip it and save....try enabling the other ring and loading into the game again....
if your memory ring is made generic again then you will only be able to enable one of the rings until a patch fixes the issue.

as a side note, the memory band only shows the bonuses when examined... works fine as my level 16 character can attest
