Silence in the Library, Midnight, Journey's End are my favs episodes.
I did'nt like the End of Time episode though. I found it anti-climatic, and "wasted potential".
Murry Gold has good soundtrack though.

It's practically been a magic wand since Ten got his hands on it, not that it wasn't well on its way during Nine's season as well.

Its more like a Dues Ex Machina tool. Does whatever it needs to do whenever it needs to do something... even when it is broken/lost that is what is needed for the plot.

But just this season it looks like he is actually getting an information read out. And what happened to red and blue mode. Now the thing is a yellowish green. why do sound waves give off light anyway. and how many licks dose it take to get to the Tootsie roll center of a Tootsie pop

Edit: I am not positive but I think The Doctor has gotten information off it before.
Also the light is just for show. How else would we know it was doing something if it was not all shiny and bright.

At first I was iffy about Matt; I'm an avid Tennant fan. However, the second episode really sold me on him. It seems he hasn't changed too much from Tennant's portrayal of The Doctor, and is more of a continuation rather then a whole new Doctor. The transition to Matt was a lot easier then Eccelston to Tennant, because he reminds me so much of Tennant.
I still miss Tennant though.

Keep in mind that Moffat wrote the first two episodes, but then episode 3 was written by Mark Gatiss --- who wrote "The Unquiet Dead" and "The Idiot's Lantern" previously... which are some of my least favorite episodes.McBegbie wrote...
The writing's worrying me though. After a great series opener the second ep was quite good but last night's felt a little flat and, without giving any spoilers, I'm not convinced by some of the choices or the direction they seem to be taking
The next two episodes are written by Moffat.
The one after that is by the guy who wrote "School Reunion"
After that is one written by Simon Nye - who hasn't done any DW episodes previously.
Following that are two episodes written by Chris
Chibnall - who previously did "42" and lots of Torchwood.
Then one by Richard Curtis. He's done plenty but no Doctor Who.
Then one by Gareth Roberts (he did "The Shakespeare Code", "The Shakespeare Code", "Planet of the Dead"... all of which were pretty "meh" <_<).
And, finally, we close with a duo from Moffat.

I think the biggest concern I have is that while I love the new style and change from the faux hip and trendy style of before to a more old style Who, I can see how many of the people who liked the New Who may not like the new one, and I'd rather it not get cancelled even if it means having to put up with all the lame attempts at being trendy.

Eccleston wasn't that great and I'm glad David Tennant took over. As for Matt Smith I like what Isaw from him so far, he's quite amusing with all of his little jokes and quite hyper(like Tennant) and deliciously odd. I've only seen the first episode of the latest season but I wwas very impressed, one paricular moment springs to mind at the end when the Doctor pretty much says "Mess with the Earth and you mess with me" That was awesome. The new companion is quite cool, the acting from the little girl was really good.

Not a huge fan of "The Idiot's Lantern" but I quite enjoyed "The Unquiet Dead". I know the Daleks are essentially the Doctor's nemesis but I think we could do with a break from them, they're getting a little overused. As far as I know the Silurians are back this season and we're overdue a multiple doctor episode, I'd like to see McGann back, he definitely missed out.
Dr boring..... just give me some new Red Dwarf

If Back to Earth is anything to go by then it's probably best left alone now, unless they can get Grant and Naylor to collaborate one last time.

Tenth Doctor was good, but I personally loved the Ninth Doctor the best out of all of them. There was a dark intensity that really drew me in, but he still maintained a bit of glee about the universe. Eccleston immediately drew me in.
Part of my problem with the Eleventh Doctor is that he's yet to do anything that makes me care about this current incarnation, his reputation solely rests on the benefit of being the Doctor. The Ninth and Tenth Doctors had quirks that became apparent much earlier on.
Looking forward to the return of--wait, would it be a spoiler to say?
