I am in the lower ruins.Have taken Water from pool and placed in earthen jug. Put jug on altar. Fought 2 demons.Door still locked won't open. How do i complete tasks with pool and jug so i can open locked doors.

Take the jug.
Fill the jug.
Put jug on altar.
Kneel.
Drink a sip from the jug.
Take the jug.
Empty jug into pool.
Fill the jug.
