Just like the title sais when you choose what you want to be paragon or renegade just for example I choose paragon is it possible to complete the game without getting any renegade or will a paragon shep always have a bar or so of renegade?

Pretty sure you can't ... I think at some missions' end you just get handed paragon & renegade points.

But ... why would you want to? There are idiotic paragon as well as idiotic renegade choices.

I reckon the game is best when you avoid acting like an idiot.

It's probably possible, but some Renegade points happen without warning. I recently did a Paragon playthrough and still ended up with a small number of Renegade points - for example, completing Liara's sidequest earns them, but you don't see that coming.

Wait, you get Renegade points for the Kelly dinner? You sure? All of the dialogue choices to romance her are Paragon choices, that would be beyond weird. Not that I think it makes sense that sexing up your secretary is a Paragon choice in the first place.

I seem to recall gaining Renegade points no matter what I did during the Grunt Loyalty quest.



It *might* be possible if you only stick to plot essential missions and a few select Loyalty missions...

Well, if you want to go full Paragon, you'd have to not take anything extra from anywhere.

That is, you can't get credits during Mordin's recruitment mission, because that's considered looting, and you get Renegade points at the end of the mission.



It's just dumb to be pure Paragon or Renegade.

If you are, then you have to completely be against Mordin's work on the genophage, despite it's obvious benefits.

Another strange Renegade moment is notifying the Krogan about the package being tampered with. I'm letting the owner know his goods are being stolen and I'm a bad guy? Huh?!



And yes, taking Kelly for dinner gave me Renegade points too, +5 I think it was like the example above.

You get 15 paragon and 15 renegade on Grunt's loyatly when you have the final conversation with Uvank.

I always thought it was funny that you take 3000 credits from that couple on Mordin's mission and then about 5 minutes later you're giving those two looters grief about looting the dead bodies.

Shepard probably wanted to take the stuff for himself but as you may recall, the looters don't leave the apartment.

 Kelly gets is +5 Renegade AND Paragon I believe... and yes you can get 0 Renegade through savedgame editing. :innocent:

I think it's less if you don't run around looting all the corpses and medi-gels. I can't vouch for that without more testing. I know for a fact though, on Mordin's recruitment if you take any medi-gels from his clinic you'll get renegade at the end of the mission. You just don't see that renegade right away.

Ha. You know, I've always felt like that was stealing. "Oh hi, we're recruiting you for an intergalactic suicide mission, now please look out the window while I loot the clinic where you're helping plague victims to atone for your past sins... which I've just asked you to abandon in order to work for a terrorist organization."
