Does anyone know what happen to valena Oven's Daughter??? Owen is the smith that refused to make weapons or help fight the dead at Redcliffe, because his Daughter  was somewhere in the castle and no one would help him get her back. The Grey Warden got him to help and make weapons by promising to find his daughter when they freeded the castle from the evil. I looked for her but found nothing  except a walled up door in the castle dungion. Anyone know anything about this quest???? Would appreciate any help? Thank you.

You can find her, in a very small room. I think if you don't find her, her dad commits suicide and is replaced by another.

She's at the end of the hallway before you exit the first part of Redcliffe Castle and use the basement entrance to get to the courtyard. If you've gotten to the basement again, you've gone too far. Same hallway where you fight the mabari - just go all the way to the end of the hallway.



I missed her my first time too. If you don't get to her before handling the little demon problem, however you choose to do that, its too late, and you won't find her.

Am I tho only one who wants to punch her when they find her? That scream she does just makes me want to form a slapping line like in Airplane, letting my whole party slap and shake her....



You get a bow from him? I get Dwarven armor, or is the bow from the replacement blacksmith?

You can buy Far Song the bow from his replacement. Owen just gives you the armor if you help.

My first run, I missed Valenna.....I was so sad when I found out that Owen hung himself after! "It was an accident, I'm soooooorrrrrrry!!!!!!"

Yeah, and why would he hang himself? He was well on the way to drinking himself to death... People should really pick an action plan and stick to it.

Apparently she got killed somewhere along the way and was thrown out with the rest of the bodies.

Thank you one and all . Sandtigress don't feel to bad I totally forgot her for most of the game only remembering her when I was looking at what quests I had left.. So I guess she has been in that room for several years now Oh well . Now I have to go back and find out what happened to Oven Thank you all for clearing that up for me.( I never did find her) Scondrel that I am. Thank You all for your input.

if you lie to the new blacksmith that your a relative of owen you get an amulet or ring (cant remember which)

wow, couldnt find her, cause it turns out i missed the last 2 doors down a hallway cause i got distracted by fighting. Im sure everyone that missed her exp the same thing. Super small room at the end of the hallway shes standing in middle of room easy to see as soon as u open door.

i had to go through the Castle storage door outside of Redcliff Castle's main door (the way you came from the Windmill).
