 See title. I had to reformat my computer a while back, and wanted to reinstall Mass Effect, but that little slip of paper with the CD Key has gone missing. What can I do to get a new one?

Try contact with EA Games, if they won't help you, probably you must buy a new copy of the game, or ask for a friend if he can share the key with you

Best solution is to search for the booklet. ^^

Or if you made a backup of your game folder and documents, you have a file .ini or txt or whatever (you can open it with notepad that much I remember) that contains your cd-key.

Best way is to search for your manual, as I can't imagine how EA will be able to give you a code as they will not be able to verify ownership (unless you still have the receipt, but since you don't have the manual I doubt it).

For next time, remember to register your key with Bioware. That'll mean you can look it up on-line in an emergency. Unless you did register your key when you bought Mass Effect and registered the game on-line with Bioware. If so, your key should be attached to your account there and can be looked up by going to www.bioware.com and logging in to your account. You don't seem to be able to get to it from these forum pages here. You need to go direct to the mothership.

Have you ever registered the game on the old forums? Your key should be somewhere in your profile options if that's the case.

 I would contact EA, your local gamestop (if your area has one) or you could always just guess random codes until you get it right
