I would LOVE shadow strike as a bonus power, but even as I wipe the nerd-drool from my chin at the idea, I must admit that it would make Shepard too powerful, especially as an infiltrator. It's great for Kasumi, but too OP for Shep.

it WOULD be kinda cool for classes to get an 8th skill that's like....another evolution of thier class specific ability.

Yes. I've always wanted Shadow Strike. The devs could easily change it around enough to make it not OP on Shepard.

Shepard already has Shadow Strike: Tactical Cloak on the Infiltrator. Asking for Shadow Strike is like asking for Combat Drone as a bonus skill because both Tali and Legion have it. Obviously they had to tweak Cloak a bit otherwise it wouldn't be useful on a squaddie, but essentially it's the same skill.

Technically you can already use it if you're an Infiltrator, but it would be great as a squad bonus power for other classes.

The way Kasumi does it, it's practically teleportation. I'm guessing it would be pretty disorienting if you did it yourself. Plus Charge actually kinda has a similar effect.

i agree maybe it would be to OP on shep but if they made it so tactical cloak would allow you to sort of port back after you make a melee strike on a target to where you originally cloaked it wouldnt be tooo bad :P

It's fairly obvious why it's not possible, the impossible movement speed and navigation the occures when she's cloaked, she clearly just 'warps' to any vacant 'tiles' next to the enemy, and as the game is a thrid person shooter, you would just see a blur while your character moved, either that or you would have to frustratingly watch while your character moved at walking pace....

Here's a Shadow Strike: as an Infiltrator, go cloak and melee someone while cloaked.

Not an insta-kill, but still a strike. :)

Exactly. Shadow Strike is basically tactical cloak with melee.
Tactical Cloak would be pretty useless for the ai squadmates so the devs had to tweak it a bit. Best bet would be to add a special animation when meleeing  an opponent and viola , shadow strike for the player infiltrator.

Now they just need to give it to THANE and we'll be good. (One thing I enjoy doing is giving one character one of the 4th level ability upgrades, and someone else the other one so they feel very individualized, plus Thane's biotics already make him very different from kasumi already)

It'd also be rad if Jack got a biotic charge, and krogan just got a super non-biotic charge where he just rams into a group of guys (unable to go through objects or warp obviously)

I told Kasumi to do a shadow strike on an enemy....only once she decloaked behind him he turned around...SO, on my side I just saw Kasumi decloak on someone and just punched them in the jaw...and killed em. Hilarious.

Biotic Charge is a lot more interesting Shadow Strike

Shadow Strike is basically a rogue backstab attack, Biotic Charge is basically transforming your body into an FTL drive and blueshifting your elbow into the enemy's face.

Shepard doesn't need to be sneaky. Run and Gun is the way! If Shepard could shadow strike, why don't we just give him one hit guns, infinite money, and those one hit kills split and kill 164

321354 more enemy's. I'm being sarcastic of course.

I just wish kasumi used her SMG to actually kill the target at close range with that peachy x2 point-blank bonus and all bullets hit...

Sneakyness makes me want to do a run through both games where i try to just get past all combat scenarios and kill as few enemies as possible (leads to some funny glitches in certain submissions where say, thorian creepers will bunp you like a fanclub while you're trying to have a conversation.
