with kasumi outIve replaced legion with her but Im starting to miss having a sniper on my squad my seconed squard mate is currenly miranda because of her overload, warp and squad bonus uhh hard choices any one have suggestions on what to do

If you really want to have a sniper on your team then just take Garrus Vs Shield enemies & Thane Vs Barrier enemies, both can work well vs Armour anyway & this way you wont miss Miranda's powers to much.

I use either Jack/Garrus or Kasumi/Thane. I do pretty well with them and I play Vangaurd.

If you have all DLC you should really take advantage of the 6/6 biotic and tech upgrades. Vs Klixen mordin does an amazing job. Vs Geth garrus is perfect, vs Loki mech you can always take Grunt and watch him plough through them while Kasumi keeps them flashed. For the 180 mech mission take 2 snipers. There really isn't a single configuration of squadmates that works best.

On my Vanguard playthough on Hardcore I always used garrus(Assault rifle) and Thane(Sniper).
I made it so I guess it works...

I used Miranda and Samara, this was before Kasumi was available. I think I'd trade Samara for Kasumi. Miranda is just too useful on higher difficulties.

Kasumi's rapid shadow strike is incredibly useful for vanguards.

I've found Kasumi to be one of the best members to bring along as a vanguard. Shadow Strike can bring down hard-to-reach enemies (as vanguards have difficulty with that) and flashbang can really help if you've charged into the wrong spot.

I feel like it really does not matter who your squadmates are. If you take squad mates with particular powers that are appropriate for the mission, you just make it easier. For the most part on all the various missions, I feel like you can take whomever you prefer to roll with. For the most part on my vanguard playthrough, I have been rolling with Tali and Garrus. When I need a specific squadmate for their loyalty mission, its just Tali and that squadmate. I don't know, with each play thorugh, I pretty much pick a member of the team and try to use them all the time.
