I've never done those things so I can't judge her reaction, but the survival of her people is on the line there, too.  I think it's perfectly reasonable for her to get pissy.  I wouldn't respect her if she didn't.

If you go by all the character polls she comes out way ahead of anyone.  And every other gaming forum I go to has a huge proportion of Tali fans.

from this forum, the highest i've ever seen tali being voted as the favorite was around 300-350 i think, and for a game thats sold over 2 million copies thats not very impressive

I fail to see how "not wanting the people who nearly drove your species to extinction to find out about something that would be grounds to make them openly hostile to you again" qualifies as "immature".


I mean, even Legion says he understands it and he's the guy she's pointing the gun at.

You don't need to ask 2 million people their opinion to be able to get a decent survey sample.

The Talimancers are uber nice. If you go into their thread they're so polite and welcoming and very reasonable. Even if you're not one of them.

I dunno where all the negativity charged around their group comes from. Seems odd.

Some of us are. I would even say most. But not all. There are some bad apples and it does us no good to deny it.

There's a lot of us who are perfectly willing to acknowledge other people's viewpoints and preferences. I believe myself to be one of them. There are, however, some who get really upset if anyone has an opposing view and who's experience with trolls have driven them to become bitter.

And then there are the trolls. Tis best not speak of them.

I wonder if any small part of it has to do with her voice. I've seen people say before that they love her voice, and I've also seen a lot of people say they love Garrus's voice. I personally think that Garrus having a sexy voice is one of the reasons people wanted him as an LI.

Not sure if it's the reason, but I will just say that I think Tali has some of the best voice acting in the game.

It wasn't. Threads weren't allowed to get that large in ye olden days of BioWare. It's still like that if you go to the old forums, which are still active, if considerably slower than these ones are.

I guess that makes sense. I liked her voice.
But, really, I thought her voice was... cute. Not sexy. It makes her sounds young. 

...And the Joker reference made me insanely happy.

i just wish that there was a seprate place for all the love interest/support threads to go that wasn't this section, because when people post questions those topics get buried so quickly

Not sure if it's the reason, but I will just say that I think Tali has some of the best voice acting in the game.

I discovered one of my neighbours sounds like her (she buzzed my intercom early in the am, when I has slept very little, and was therefore dazed. It took me a moment to figure out it was reality), and yes: this is a good thing. lol

Hehe, I saw other people say that at the end of their posts, and it's very appropriate I think.
And I didn't mean by the comparison with Garrus that Tali's voice was supposed to sound sexy, necessarily...just appealing.
