if i first see something that the masses love i'm ususally very sceptic about it. i will take a look at it myself then it will be on one of two things, either i hate it with a burning passion or i love it... tali hasn't impressed me so far so because of all the tali mancers i kill her in my playthroughs

I suspect you do not grasp nor understand either Ashley's or my own opinions on race relations.

Actually, I think Ashley's opinions are much more reasonable than people usually think they are. That being said, I still disagree with her vehemently. I just don't think she's the one-dimensional bigot she so often gets flanderized as.

In order to be a Talimancer you need a Manshep. Manshep does not exist. I have dismissed these claims.

I don't hate her. I don't love her. I harbor an extreme dislike toward those who openly worship the virtual ground she walks on. She's interesting enough, like most other Mass Effect characters with the exception of a few (I'm looking at you Kaiden, Jacob and Liara), is a valid LI, and can be considered to be one of the more major characters in the game.

Don't even get me started on the Tali thread. Urgh. It's mostly socialization, with a few good posts here and there. And even when a good discussion pops up, it's run into the ground very quickly. The mods should be killing that thread daily. I guess they're too scared to ****** off the Tailban.

Edit: Onyx, you win the internets with that post. Manshep does not exist in my Mass Effect either.

Edit: Also, I don't think Tali and Shepard's relationship can stand the test of time. I don't think the quarians would be terribly accepting, and ultimately they can't have a real family together. If they decide to part ways later and Tali finds love amongst her own people she might regret allowing Shepard to take her virginity.

Of course if she was exiled then what the quarians as a whole think doesn't matter, and so what that they can't have kids?

Of course she's more than one dimensional, she loud AND obnoxious AND has emotional tourettes AND thinks the THEM is out ot get her entire family, and given how obnoxious she is, she's probably right.

She's more of the tragic romance that you want to see work then a perfect girlfriend, without a doubt she is the most  difficult romance option available what with the suit in the way. Others have their own obsticals like Garruses chaffing or Thanes dieing, but none have an impossible vibe to them.

Well regardless none of my Shepards can get it on with Tali because I only play as female Shepards.

Adopting would only make it worse since that would just force the child to endure not being close with one of their parents.

A very good point. But I think it really comes down to the Shepard. For some, it will work. For others, it won't.

Not being able to reproduce in the Tali, Garrus, and Thane romances has little relevance. They all went into the romance knowing that no offspring could arise from it. This isn't a human couple discovering that one of the two of them is infertile. Men and women can resist the biological drive to reproduce. Obvious, but needs to be stated as some people seem to suggest that it's neccessarily a monumental obstacle.
