Horizontal on an HD TV would actually be very cool.
The vertical in COD: World at War gives me a headache!
Edit: The split in MW2 is Horizontal I think. Thank God for small favors....

Writing. What irks me about video game writing is the xbox live spot with some a-hole in a leather jacket because he thinks he's cool and edgy talking about writing. Man, that guy was so out of touch. Just another idiot on MS payroll like this d-bag

I agree with OP. Played MMOs for some time and never liked it. Nor do I like co-op or any online fancy things in my games.
It was cute when RA3 had an option to play co-op without people (quote-ish: "If you have no friends you can use our AI").
I really like single player and only it. Im not against online gameplay, but I hope game developers can try harder to develop only SP games to support our dying breed.In the end it gives them more possibility to make ammasing storry and.... oh.... now I get it... its lack of good scripts that makes it so.
