Eurypterid is probably an American.  We tend to have a little problem with geography even when dealing with things IN the US.  It's much easier to accept that nothing exists outside it

Well, jsh, you're right about Americans not knowing geography (at least unless they have an interest), as a cousin of mine brought some friends home on break from UNLV and they asked us how we liked living in the state of Chicago.

As for the OP's question, there probably either was a last minute deal made to get the hard copy version on the shelves or the source you got your information from was in error.Either reason is possible and neither reason calls for accusations of lying or swearing. We live in a dynamic world, things change all the time. Did it really cause you any harm in having Awakenings as DL rather than hardcopy?

As for MOTpoetryION's rage against the EA machine... Unimpressive, and unoriginal. Get some new material and then maybe you can get yourself a show. Until then, we've got all the Rush Limbaughs, Glen Becks, and, Sarah Palins we can stand.

That is a classic example, but very sad at the same time

Just wait in 10-15 years and talk with some folks from Texas for a laugh.  The "conservative" folks there just "corrected" the history and science text-books there to more "accurately" represent  history and "appropriately present" the theory of evolution.

lol to all those losers saying only europe and uk had to download australia had to download it aswell

and i was rather annoyed as i would much rather of had a disc copy to begin with sine if my PS ever crashes i will have to download the whole thing again..and it takes up space on my hard drive

I am sure i saw it confirmed in a thread before Awakenings came out that it is available here on disc.

Only in Sweden.

That aside it is rather curious that the FAQ still asserts that PAL regions won't have disc versions for the console, I know that Hong Kong has them and the format here is definitely PAL.
