Ahh nice Himura!

truth be told, I've never heard Sroka's voice work in Blood+ because I watch with subtitles. They recently made a live-action movie based on the original work, Blood the Last Vampire, but it was a pretty lame film, IMO. I heard they are making a live-action Bleach movie with Keanu Reaves :x

Blood + was good but Vampire Knight was better. Beautiful animation and some unconventional plot twists.

I urge all of you to watch Claymore, it is absolutely brilliant.

Chobits lol Himura, I laughed so much with that anime and the "persocons". The manga for X by same authors (CLAMP) is also great.

Chobits was very good. And the opening song is quite catchy

(If you have a musical ear, this song has a very nice bass playing)

It makes sense, you just have to watch the whole thing several times to take it all in, all though I still don't get why Naota's dad dresses up as a n azi soldier.
Now bobobo-bo bo-bobo, that show completely defies my comprehension.

I loved Chobits.

The OP song is awesome.

Not as addictive as this little piece of music from a made-up anime in NHK ni Youkoso.

Atashi pururin pururururin!

I've probably watched more cumulative hours of pokémon than all other animes combined so I guess that's worth mentioning.

me too! Add Ayashi No Ceres to my list too!
i used to watch naruto P1. some bits are good. some horrible.... so i doesnt make my list unfortunately :(

FMA was okay... I've never gotten into the common Death Note, one piece and Bleach though. Not my type of thing...
Grave of the Fireflies (movie) was so said :crying:

I've watched others when i was alot younger but i don't think i fully understood them. (symbolism and philosophical themes) so they wouldn't be on my list. Maybe i'll rewatch it so i can appreciate them.

Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, and Spirited Away were all great movies. That studio has put out many other movies too. Miyazaki Hayao is one very talented man. You just don't see much old school animation on bigger budget productions anymore. CG has crept into everything. I suppose it's only a matter of time before it seeps into those movies too. If it hasn't already, but at least I have good memories... :)

Well, Miyazaki's latest movie, Ponyo, is proudly marketed as fully hand-drawn. I haven't seen it yet but I promised it as a birthday pressie to my kid on DVD ;) Even those Studio Ghibli movies that are suitable for all ages (like Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service) have so much that appeals to adults, too. It's not the witty jokes of western animations; it's the atmosphere, the beauty, the truer than realistic characters and the sheer magic.

Akira was the first one I ever saw, but Ranma 1/2 is what got me into anime.

Surprised no one here said Gintama.  If you're in the US you can watch the episodes on crunchyroll.com

am I the only one here who watches fullmetal alchemist!?

Maybe because no one here likes Square Enix.

Just kidding I watch FMA and the new FMA: Brotherhood.

Soul Eater
Hellsing Ultimate
Cowboy Bebop
Lucky Star
Trigun
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzimiya
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
Full Metal Alchemist
Death Note
Desert Punk
Black Lagoon
Cowboy Bebop
Bakemonogatari
Last Exile
Samurai Champloo
Full Metal Panic!
Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Durarara!!
Arakawa Under The Bridge
Seitokai no Ichizon
Kanon
Fist of the North Star
Grave of the Fireflies (Oh, yay! Emotionally traumatized!)
Witch-Hunter Robin
Darker Than Black
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
Elfen Lied
Kimi ni Todoke
Seitokai no Ichizon

Not including any of the Spring 2010 airing currently and this is excluding plenty of other shows I watch. Honestly, I'm pretty sure I watch more anime than the average human being should.

What? Hell no. I know what taste is. Stuff like Seikon no Qwaser and shoestring budget harem anime and lifeless moeblob things I tend to stay away from (though I enjoy K-On! when I don't want to see rocket-firing guitars, duel-wielded super-pistols, philosophical questions being asked by awesome robot tanks that sound like ten year old girls, etc, etc) I just watch all the good ones.

Legend of Koizumi. ALMOST FORGOT.

This is the only show to turn Mahjong into the greatest thing ever. It was so awesome, it very nearly brought a tear to my eye.

Heh, I used to get them through Bittorrent sites that provided fan translations. Managed to finish an entire series before it even airs or gets licensed here in the U.S. I haven't done that for a while though. You lose your taste in anime as soon as you realize how static the whole medium is and how contrived the stories are.

Ergo Proxy

Evangelion

Death Note

Cowboy Bebop

Serial Experiments Lain

Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust

Paranoia Agent

Perfect Blue

Spirited Away

Akira

GitS 1 and some of the series (but for some reason it just doesn't impress me like it does with othes, probably because I can't stand the major)

Hellsing Ultimate

More, but can't remember/don't have the time/can't be bothered to list any more.
