How did you do THAT?! :)

Here is how I did it, first you need to edit the coalesced file Roadcrewworker's mod manager helped greatly then search for sfxpawn_player there will then be a list of leg/arm/torso etc appearances. I copied and pasted into the different catagories, for example: this is the regular n7 helm which can me pasted to say the shoulders section. (note hiding hair doesnt work anymore)

(Id=26,Name=335470,Description=335471,Type=CustomizableType_Helmet,Mesh=(Male="BIOG_HMM_HGR_SHP_R.SHPb.HMM_HGR_SHPb_MDL",Female="BIOG_HMF_HGR_SHP_R.SHPb.
HMF_HGR_SHPb_MDL",bHasBreather=True,bHideHair=True),GameEffects=("SFXGame.SFXGameEffect_Gear_N7Helmet"),PlotFlag=-1)

----make sure the Id number is different for each one and plot flag is set to -1, while im sure this is sloppy
editing this worked well for me:)
edit. ids for the dlc items in the biogame\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\dlc
the kasumi dlc casual ware is Id=95, might be helpful if you have the more causalclothing mod running that conflicts

Yeah, it's very easy. If you want one of the codes (that are skeletal meshes) you can just dload the save edit. in there is a folder named "lookup". It contains three txt.s, one contains all the skeletal mesh codes with levels that are using this model. paste it into the pawn directory and use the armor locker or create a binding for "only load level whatever" and enjoy the new model.

@ maroam masseffect2\\\\biogame\\\\dlc dragonagename\\\\cookedpc biogame would need notepad++
SFXGameEffect_Gear_DA_PowerBonus editing these lines or simply adding those drpepper lines might add bonuses but I am not sure as I haven't tried it.

@ Chugster this would work through casual appearances and you would need a bind to reload the clothing per every area that you load azurem has a more detailed wxplanation on page1 with his armorlocker mod
hope this helps.

Thanks for the answer! That's interesting. I still don't quite understand how you managed to get two helmets to show up at the same time, for example the Death Mask and the Capacitor Helmet. :)

My mod: ME2 TEXTURE QUICK BYPASS also allows you to be able to play Mass Effect 2
with the above and other TexMod textures enabled without having to repeatedly load them
in TexMod when starting Mass Effect 2. It can look a little creepy at first.

I knew I've seen this before! Thanks a bunch, very useful! :D

No Problem. ;)

I suggest this modding site run by my buddy and modding god (similar to Biotic God) Southbeatz169.  He's responsible for  the awesome modd that I use that allows me to wear Henchman armors on and off the Normandy.  Check it out! Hope it helps.   :)

I don't know if I missed it somewhere but can someone tell me how to give an adept the weapon loadout of a soldier? Would I do that in the gibbed save editor?

I wish I could tell you, but that's beyond me. Pretty sure it can't be done with Gibbed though. The only way I've made my mods happen is to just use a  prepared Coalesced.ini from friends.  I have an ini that has all the guns for each class and also lots of different armors to wear including henchmen armor textures, in case you want to play as Grunt or whoever.

What's (Terminator 2 style)?

The only two I know of are these:

Black Revenant Light Machine Gun
Revenant X-76f for Girls

I checked that, its not read only, im using Vista, if that makes any difference...oh and the C.ini file is already modified (I downloaded the StrudelMan outfit mod)

Do you need to have the C.ini file open in Notepad++ or any thing like that?

its really annoying, all this modding potential and I cant do anything atm

Chugster (Awesome name)... Similar issues on windows 7. I get around it by having a folder in my user (home) folder that I stick all my coalesced editing tools. Just make sure you're editing somewhere that's 'yours' rather than the 'system'.

My folder is named 'glory hole' (GH). In that I put a shortcut to the 'cooked' folder (from my ME2 install) that contains the original coalesced.ini. I copy the coalesced.ini to GH and make sure its not read only. I edit it with notepad++. I put me2inifixer.exe in GH too, right next to my (just edited) copy of coalesced.ini and the shortcut to 'cooked'. I run the me2inifixer, and because its right next to coalesced.ini it finds and fixes it. I copy the fixed coalesced.ini into the shortcut (to cooked) and hit the YES 'as administrator' malarky.

Not sure if its the same with Vista, but on W7 you can also just bring up the properties of Mass Effect 2 folder and change permissions/ownership to allow you to edit its contents.

Ahhh, NOW I got it. So basically the shoulder-model(s) get replaced by a helmet-model. Thanks again!

but now i have a new problem, im trying to make the Geth rifle like the ME1 version but there doesnt seem to be a player damage entry, only AI and Hench...is this right?

A specific damage entry is missing for the geth pulse rifle, it also has two entries for infinite ammo (false). I guess it defaults back to a default weapon damage (x and y = 3.7?). I can't see the harm in adding your own, pick one from another assault rifle type, paste and edit as necessary. The hench and AI damage settings are supposed to be multipliers (or penalties for your squad mates) for the damage squad mates and enemy AI do when equipped with that particular weapon.

If you drastically increase the weapon damage, enemy geth using the rifle will also get the boost.

Anyone know how to get Miranda's outfit as a casual outfit for femshep? I've seen it around, but I haven't been able to find it since I picked up a PC copy.

I'm trying to get my buddy to make his .ini file available which will give you Mirandas outfit as armor and casual along with outher henchmen.  It also makes all guns available to whatever class you are.  I'll keep this thread posted when it becomes available for download, hopefully later today.

You could also try someone elses Coalesced.ini file and see if it's to your liking. I've only been able to get Southbeatz169's mod working though.

Say, has anyone found a way to get the eclipse armor like that guy from the miranda loyalty mission? The guy that says "You're the one that kidnapped our bosses little girl" ?
