are you guys having issues with crashes and lockups using these armor lockers? Each time I play with it on it ends up really ruining the game constantly crashing etc...
I don't bother with all the costumes, I don't use any outfit that requires a level load, I sure as hell don't change the streaming settings. The only thing my Armor Locker v2.0 (by Azureum) does is stream in the captains cabin on the normandy, and open the menu. I even commented out the vixen and 'dancer' outfit level loads. Using it just to change attire that's available anywhere without streaming in texture information, I haven't had a single crash.
Once you start adding in dozens of outfits that all require their own streamed in level, and/or changing specifically how the game handles texture streaming completely, then you're tempting crashes.
You should check your armor locker text files and be sure it includes a close GUI line as well as an open GUI line. Opening the gui twice quickly, without that close gui option will always cause a hard crash.

I downloaded Notepad++, I copied the Coalesced folder, I got ME2iniFixer inside the "Cooked" folder. I open up the Coalesced with Notepad++, I change something, but when I save, it wont let me because and the thing says "Please check whether if this file is opened in another program".
I restarted my computer, did all that stuff again, and it still asks me to close stuff down..Whats wrong with my game? All I want is to skip the logo crap when I run the game. T__T

download this program called unlocker its a tool that will detect program and processes,and it will give you the option to unlock the program from any process so that you can end it from being used by something else.Just_mike wrote...

I have seen videos of people playing with a different person as their shepard. Like Parasini in the video here:
Yes this is ME1, i know. but I would also like to know how and what to change to play this without it going wrong.
My problem is this. I have tried editing the ini file in ME1 folder and it was supposed to look like in the video above. but instead it got to look strange. The face was right, but the dress was wrong textured and the hands was pale white and looked like the skin didn't fit.
I have tried myself to place the following line:
'BIOA_ICE_C.HMF.Ice20_giannaparasini' instead of this: 'BIOG_Female_Player_C.Human.Human_Female'.
so that this:
'[BIOC_Base.BioCharacterImporter]
m_stockPlayerCharacter=(m_Label="Soldier",m_Gender=BIO_ATTRIBUTE_PAWN_GENDER_MALE,m_FirstName="John",m_origin=BIO_PLAYER_CHARACTER_BACKGROUND_ORIGIN_EARTHBORN,m_notoriety=BIO_PLAYER_CHARACTER_BACKGROUND_NOTORIETY_SURVIVOR,nBonusTalentID=-1)
m_femaleActorType=BIOG_Female_Player_C.Human.Human_Female
m_maleActorType=BIOG_Male_Player_C.Human.Human_Male
m_MAX_TALENT_PREREQS=1;'
get to look like this:
'[BIOC_Base.BioCharacterImporter]
m_stockPlayerCharacter=(m_Label="Soldier",m_Gender=BIO_ATTRIBUTE_PAWN_GENDER_MALE,m_FirstName="John",m_origin=BIO_PLAYER_CHARACTER_BACKGROUND_ORIGIN_EARTHBORN,m_notoriety=BIO_PLAYER_CHARACTER_BACKGROUND_NOTORIETY_SURVIVOR,nBonusTalentID=-1)
m_femaleActorType=BIOA_ICE_C.HMF.Ice20_giannaparasini
m_maleActorType=BIOG_Male_Player_C.Human.Human_Male
m_MAX_TALENT_PREREQS=1;'
but the problem I am encountering is that the skin is messed up in the colours and also I am unable to use any powers or even draw my weapon.
So if anyone know what I did wrong it would be great if you want to help... also if there is a way to make it work for the second game then cool. but at first just for ME1

If someone could post a quick tutorial on how to do it, that would be super. I have used this tutorial for females in the past, so I'm guessing it's something similar.

.. Are you using Vista/Win 7? if so, move Coalesced to Desktop, then edit whatever you wanted in it, then save it, it should be able to save, then put it back into its original folder. It usually works for me o.o

I don't see them using any powers or weapons in the vid, that's purely cutscenes. A *lot* of character models just won't work well for combat. Generally, if you want to use it to fight---it better be one that fights in the game anyways---either one of your party members, or an enemy. Giana is a "non-combatant" and you can't really MAKE her fight.
As for messed up colors-----sure you're not using Texmod? If not---very rarely (only with asari) I have sometimes seen a "custom Shep" skin color "over-ride" the correct skin color. I'll try using Giana later today and see what I get.
::edit:: Ok, tried Giana. Looked fine, but can't fight at all. I'd suspect that the person who made the video either constantly swapped around to be able to fight between cutscenes, or just set it to super-easy and let the AI party members do all the fighting.

I personally don't mind the overlay, but some might so I am including two variations. I.M.O. the overlay doesn't really affect gameplay and it makes the armor more detailed.
This screenshot of the shiny version was taken with fraps during the derelict reaper cinematic.

This the one without the overlay

The final project of the day is black inferno
The armor is now available at my projects page along with my newly released blood dragon and terminus armors.

Well...After I did just that, I saved it, it worked, but now Mass Effect 2 is now officially unplayable for me. Even the copy of Coalesced I made wont work. GG guys.

@Just_mike: just remove the edits you made and put the original back-up file into the folder, and remove any added programs. It fixed it for me. Wasn't able to mod though.
