This is lame, the powers don't stick with the squad member, they are lost after a mission.

Oh right, duh. But wait, I thought squad members could have a max of 4 powers to pick from at a time on the screen?

[SFXGame.SFXGameModeBase]
Bindings=( Name="End", Command="exec Power.txt" )
As ZephSunstrider already has explained add a binding put your textfile in ME2 / Binaries folder, run the bindings and you get the power.
You're right about this, all this extra power I'm adding overright the original power, or push them out of the "power toolbar".
The best way to this is first to choose what power you will use that belong to your class, when this is done, then hit the bindings and add all the extra power you will use.

Hope you get it this to work, because this is really funny..

Please, this is not lame..
We still work and test if there is some way to get it permanent.
But this what you get so far.
It take you few extra second to activate them again.

How do I get Kasumi in bed with me? I've seen screenshots of people doing all sorts of tinkering with the love scenes and post-game "Captain's Cabin" screenshots.

Could someone please direct me to the tools and information I need to somehow work Kasumi's model into all this with my male Shepard, if it's even possible? I want to make glorious screenshots!

I guess ZephSunstrider can give you some advice there.
Good luck.

Yes, I did the keybind thing that adds powers to squad members but it doesn't stick with them after a mission. I was trying to permanetly add the power to the squad member with the SAVE GAME EDITOR.

Sounds like The Fixer is not reading that ME2 is installed. The ME2 registry entry is probably missing. You can
manually add it to the registry.

From Start Menu click Run(If missing in Vista or 7 regain it here) then type in regedit then press ENTER. And then
follow steps below:

Image IPB

Or reinstall ME2, being sure to backup your C.INI first. Then just replace the default ini after install with your
backup. Then run The Fixer and it should work.

Thanks, but it still ain't working. Now it says it can't overwrite to ini.bak or something like that. Sigh maybe I'm just crap at modding. Oh, and did you give an AR to Miranda, Mordin, Jacob and heavy weapons to them, Grunt and Legion? Just asking.

Try deleting ini.bak and then try running The Fixer again.

Hi
I want to ask something plz.
I started messing with gibbed save editor and i saw the ME1 plot choises you can make.Since my ME saves are old and i dont want to play ME1 again is it possible to just "make" a new save with the editor with the class, name, choices etc and import it somehow to ME2 and play?
For rpg issues xexexe!!!
Yes it is possible.
Don't kill me for this post Azureum.:innocent:
From Azureum's post in the original Modding Is Possible forum. On page 119.
Azureum wrote...
After you start your new game, save and then open Gibbed's editor.

Then,
change the ME1 plot information making sure to check the "Played ME1"
box.

After setting the plot variables, switch to the RAW tab and
find "Endgamestate," then change that to one of the two Finished
options.

This will flag your ME2 save as complete and allow you
to import it to start a New Game.

I finally got it! All I had to do was move my edited coalesced into a new folder, and move the ini. fixer into the same folder, and then run it. Backup was made, and I deleted my original coalesced and it's now good to go! Thank you phoenixofthunder for you so kindly assisting a tech idiot like me. Cheers, and if anyone has the same problems as I did, just do what I did and your golden.

Hmm. I hate to ask, but I cant seem to get this to work. Im trying to add Miranda's loyalty uniform as a selectable outfit for my femshep (I loved the robocop look as a Vanguard, but for my adept playthrough, I want something a bit more striperific).

I can't seem to get it to work though.

I have the following thing copied into my Coalesced.ini folder (replacing the ugly brown casual outfit, which I deleted):

CasualAppearances=(Id=2,Type=CustomizableType_Torso,Mesh=(Female="BIOG_HMF_ARM_NKD_R.NKDb.HMF_ARM_NKDb_MDL",PlotFlag=-1)

I really want it as a wearable armor on missions, of course, but I conveniantly found this line in the examples in the armorlocker download, so I figured I'd start small.

The thing is, it doesn't work. Im at the armor/appearence customizer in the Illusive Man's space station (before Freedom's Progress), and the ugly brown uniform I deleted is, indeed, gone, but this one does not appear.

I feel as If I've missed a step somewhere that I need to make the game recognize the change, but I cant seem to figure it out.

Help?

Managed to get the normal, white outfit working as both a casual outfit and an armor, but not the black loyalty outfit. I think maybe the path that was in one of thsoe text files with the armor pack is just wrong.

On a related subject, anyone know where I can find a good copy of UNModel? The one that came with the armor download from this thread just doesn't seem to work (says its missing a file).

Would be interesting i guess - but it wouldn't be Miranda's body in the stripper dress, it would just be her head on the stripper body. I found a modded coalesced file that allows you to change you head and body to various characters in the game, so i tried Miranda in the stripper outfit:

Ok, making sure--is that MIRANDA with a different body, or is that Shepard using Miranda's head and the dancer's body?

I've attempted this here recently. Even after some trail and error my game still crashes. I'm unsure what's causing the problem.

Current Rank = 4
Name = EvolvedSingularity_Heavy

Since I don't use the savegame editor my self, will I suggest you look at my dialog with ZephSunstrider. It seem like he has get that working, editing his squad with savegame editor. I guess that will take some time.
See if that can give some tip.

Zeph:
I figured out how to add Rank 4 bonus powers to people.
It's a little more difficult than regular powers, mostly because we
don't know the package names. I found a workaround.
You need Gibbed's
glorious Save Editor, then you add the bonus power to yourself at
whatever rank (Say, 3). You save, and open up the savegame in Gibbed's
Editor. Under Raw/Player/Powers are all powers listed, including their
package name.
So, Heavy Warp Ammo is called
SFXPower_WarpAmmo_Evolved1_Player. Finally, Tali has it at Rank 4 ../../../images/forum/emoticons/grin.png
I suppose
it's kinda the same for the other bonus powers.

The save editor here is just used to learn the names of the evolved power names. Sadly, it doesn't help in adding powers pernamently. The game rescans the data files and resets your powers to the base settings after each load. I don't know if there's a way around that.
The editor can change a few settings, stuff like how many resources or squad points you have, your facial appearance and the likes. It can't change your powers. That's one of the first things I tried with it, long before getting the idea of putting stuff in a text file.

Edit:

ZephSunstrider wrote...

That just meant that I now know the proper package to add via the AddPower cmd. I didn't change anything with Gibbed's Editor.

Edit2: Valentyna, sorry if it seems we're ignoring you. We just don't know how to help you atm, and others maybe aren't that frequentive.
I tried thinking about a way to help you, but I'm not much into swapping outfits around. All I can tell you is that changes in that data block are recognized by the game immediately, so even if you change a piece of armor you're wearing right now, it will change on your character too.
Regarding using Miranda's loyalty outfit as casual/armor wear, there seems to be alot of demand for that. I recommend doing a quick search with Google over the site (since the built-in search is a bad joke), or just google the interwebz for it in general.
Some outfits also don't seem to work at all. I desperately tried to get the alternate merc outfit for ManShep to work (the sleeveless vest/dark one), but it just wouldn't work, no matter what I did. Maybe it's the same with the loyalty outfit.
