I'm still looking for a functional Eclipse Armor. And of course, also a proper helmet for Eclipse and Blue Suns armor. Hope someone might help

in [SFXGame.SFXPawn_Player] I added this (lines ### or ; are comments to make it easier to understand)

First line and last line works fine. But the second one (Eclipse) displays the Blue Suns Armor.
I read somewhere that material override may not work if not on Casual appearances. Has anyone been able to solve this issue ?

Also, second problem, as for the helmets. Following Azareum's instructions, I could find the masks.

And, in order to get an helmet (with the mask), I added a standard N7 helmet as a arm appearance. Works quite fine with N7/BlueSuns armor as we don't need arm part.
Unfortunately, it's not perfect yet. Has anyone found out an helmet that might be of better help to use with BlueSuns and Eclipse Mask ?

The good news is that with an helmet as "arm part", I can now use Helmet + Visor, which gives a great look to my Shepard, but it doesn't really help for Eclipse.

If anyone can help me, I would be grateful.

EDIT : Exemples above for female shepard are not functional, as I play with a male shepard and I didn't try to make female appearances work fine.

Has anyone tried setting the bDropAmmo=True command to =False? I'm thinking about trying a playthrough with weapons set to use heat, powers using separate cooldown and bypass shields, but it may become a bit easy, so I'll remove the random heatsink drops from dead enemies. The bDropWeapon command, however, was buggy... :/

Gah, I'm having a terrible time with this. I've got the ME2IniFixer in the same folder as coalesced.ini and granted the whole Mass Effect folder complete admin privileges (I've got Vista 64) But I still can't change anything in the coalesced file. It gives me a "check file path and name" error.



I know, this is probably basic computer literacy. What am I doing wrong?

Sounds like Mass Effect 2 is missing from the computer registry.
Type regedit on the run/command and search:"Mass Effect 2" and see if it shows up.
If not reinstall Mass Effect 2 or manually add it to the registry.

Dragon Age wasn't a tenth this hard, darn it. Just installed daMod and away I went.

No, but if on a hard drive other than the Operating System hard drive it can.
Installing a new Operating System and performing a system restore also can cause it.

I'm a perfect example
Operating System: C:\\
ME2 Directory: E:\\Program Files\\Mass Effect 2

Reinstalling will put it in the registry again.

And you can backup your saves by copying the save folder here:
C:\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Documents and Settings\\*Username*\\My Documents\\BioWare\\Mass Effect 2\\

You're welcome.
I have been using computers since I was eight and have gotten to be very fluent with them.
Any techinal problems and I'll try my hardest to solve it.

I've done all things you said to import a new casual appearance.



But i can't see the casual appearance. The slot is there, but then i select it, nothing happens.

Did you add the casual outfits data lines to the coalesed.ini?

About the "hole in the chest with TIMs suit" thing again:



Isn´t it possible for us to edit textures? What if I "paint" over the hole in the *.dds or whatever ME2 uses for textures? ^^

I reeeaaally want that suit to work.

Sorry for doublepost, but:

I just tried implementing TIMs suit as a chest armor part, but it seems to bug out the moment I take a gun into my hands. The left arm of my char just hangs in the air. I can control my char and the gameplay is not hindered by it...it just...looks really wierd and painful. ^^

Can it be that there is a missing animation for combat?

Yeah, I know your problem, CHT87. The illusive man's suite is buggy. I tried everything to change this s**t but it seems to be a fix problem, because the model isn't made for battle. (it also has no real torso, there's a big whole under your head... I can only advice you: choose another body.

I stuck to using that suit as a casual outfit...Shame, Agent 00Shepard would've looked and sounded awesome...
I was wondering if it was possible to modify the look of your squad, similar to that? Like say, have Miranda wear Samara's suit?

Has any of you been able to create a whole new weapon (using an existing model) ?

I duplicated the needler, adding a new entry wherever it appears, but I have no new weapon in game.

Hey there, I have a quick question. Is it possible to bind certain keys to specific weapons in Shepard's arsenal? For example, if I have a sniper equipped and I want to pull out the SMG or heavy pistol, could I have a keybind for it instead of going through the whole pause - squad menu - select weapon etc.? To further illustrate, could I mod the coalesced.ini so that F1 pulls out a shotgun, F2 SMG and so on? If yes, how do I go about doing it? I've been looking through the coalesced editor, but I can't find any of the commands...

I'm having problems getting the SharedPowerCooldown line to work - setting it to "false" should enable separate cooldown for the powers, right? I tried with different spelling ("false", "FALSE", "False") by it never seem to work. Weapon Overheat does, though. I'd appreciate some help?

Is it possible to convert a code for ( Torso Appearances ) to ( Full Body Appearances )?

the reason why I'm asking is because if I use torso appearances they disappear when i start a mission, but full body appearances work fine without causing a sound bug on NRM

So please help meeeeeeee

Ok, got that one working by simply changing the TorsoA on to FullBA, and I had to switch the bUseBackgroundLevelStreaming on to false, but that gave me another problem sound on the NRM is gone :@

Douse anybody know how to fix that?

theflater, I guess you just need to add a valid arm/helm/legs appearance to your torsoappearance.

I had to add "no arm" as a valid armappearance to make some of my appearances to work.

I'm seeking for a way to edit BIOWeapon.ini files containted in my DLC. Doing so corrupt the files and make the DLC unavailable. The problem is, I guess, exactly the same than the coalesced.ini being corrupted when edited, but there is nowhere a ME2iniFixer.exe I could use for BIOWeapon.

Anyone might help ?
