Ohhhh crap!
I should get my own ship. I'm the captain biringdown of this place. half of what i do is telling people why "it's not going to happen".

I hope you know that it is only because i wanted it before, like pretty much anything else. Why should you wast your time if I already wasted mine?

Anyway....

She uses a HMF_ARM_MEDc_MDL . Which has a default texture of army camo.
And since MaterialOverride Arguments does not apply anywhere but on the Normandy, Your hopes and dreams were shattered in to a thousand pieces.

Only bright side is that it is an uncommon mesh, So get someone to make a texmod for it, and it would only ****up Wasea.

You're not trying play as Mordin when it happens right?

Which ID Numbers did you assign for his torso and head in the locker?


No, I'm using the regular human Shepard when it happens. The ID numbers are set to 99, although it's an entry for arm, helmet, leg, shoulder and torso for Mordin. I also have Grunt, as torso and helmet only set at 1010.

Got it sorry! It has been ages since I've last heard of her :P - Just check any coalesced with armour inside.

Is there a mod to remove the ammunition icons from the side of weapons? Not the parallel lights along the barrel, just the logo thing that sticks out of the side showing what kind of ammo it is. I know it was for colour blind players but it looks ridiculous and was wondering if such a change existed.

Look,

The Auto-helmeting script doesn't really equip the N7 helmet.. it was supposd to, but somethings just went wrong and it effected alot more than that. This is also why all FullBodyAppearances all have helmets as a single mesh, instead of having that mesh as a fallback for when you go vacuum. It also doesn't respond to the bHasBreather bool as a toggle for "helmet voice".

The safest way for you to "get it done", is to just remove your butchershop of body parts from the c.INI, and apply again after you finish being "all serious" for this new DLC.

Not .ini related, but has anyone figured a way to either permanently replace textures with Texmod or reduce the lag it causes?



It was (relatively) fine on my XP setup a few months back, but it's just awful on Windows 7 - Mass Effect 2 (clean) runs smooth with 8xAA and 16xAF, but the moment I start Texmod the framerate plummets. Even with 2xAA it's unplayable, and I hate the jaggies. Memory usage by Texmod in Task Manager seems very low, yet the lag is horrendous... :/



I remember someone had a problem earlier in the thread when Texmod somehow managed to replace texture permanently, but I can't replicate that?

Does it matter at all if you use less mods? or is it just the fact that it's launched wia texmod?

No difference between a single, small texture repaint and a dozen large packages - the lag is the same, so it must be just launching Texmod itself. I've tried turning off all background processes, even firewall and anti-virus, didn't work.

I've Just read that the new STASIS power works on shielded enemies!!!!

How come no one mentioned this here??

Is someone doing a search in the INI's and more importantly, the TXTs inside the PCC, to identify some kind of property that looks like it might be worth testing in the ShieldBase or GameConfig subsections?

This is a duct tape hack for getting Liara in your party at any time.

Disable a party member you'll never use. Miranda, Jacob, and Zaeed are all good choices since you can get them very early in the game with little effort, but this works with anyone.

Go to their entry under [SFXGame.BioSFHandler_PartySelection] and delete their InSquad### tag so you're left with InPartyLabel=,

Then go to [SFXGame.SFXGameModeBase] and add
Bindings=( Name="NumPadZero", Command="StreamLevelIn BioH_Liara_00" )

When you go on a mission, select that deleted character. You'll get a blank spot on your party, which you can fill with Liara by hitting NumPadZero. The game remembers her loadout and power shortcuts so thankfully you only need to set it up once. You have to reload her every time you start a mission or reload a game. InPartyLabel=InSquadLiara as a replacement doesn't seem to work.

I would think that it would take more than that single flag you mentioned. If said flag was left up between loads
It would mean you'd have a squad on the Normandy.

I am sure you know that this line, is just what determines the meaning of the actual flag in the pcsav file. maybe changing more values, like "Isselecteble" would help, since there's a script that cross-check flag state
to check if dependency is met.

Still, the game does keep her state tracked somehow since you can load a game during her mission without her disappearing. I don't know what flag you'd need to set to make her stay, but a single button press isn't too bad of a workaround.

Any chance of a way to do this or something similar from a game save for us lowly xbox players with nothing but Gibbed and a hex editor?  I had given up when I realized she had no "in squad" flag (that I could isolate anyway) in the usual place in the save but perhaps overwriting another squadmember in the hex editor somehow?  I'll fire any squad member for Liara and her singularity.

hopefully, the console that comes after the next xbox, will just have a nice key saying "open command prompt window"

so we lowly xbox players can just get on with our lives :P^_^
