Incrementally adding points via the commands from ME1 doesn't seem to work reliably.

Setting the value specifically via 'set' does work but obviously not as an incremental addition. I find it easier to just max both renegade and paragon and make any decision I like, when I like rather than 'gimping' in a few extra here and there as the need arises.  The result is the same.

Here are my coalesced.ini edits:

Under [SFXGame.SFXGameModeBase]

;-- Morality
Bindings=( Name="Underscore",Command="SetRenegade 0 | SetParagon 0" )
Bindings=( Name="Equals",Command="SetParagon 1900 | SetRenegade 1957" )
Bindings=( Name="Equals",Command="SetParagon 1900 | SetRenegade 250",Alt=True )
Bindings=( Name="Underscore",Command="SetRenegade 1957 | SetParagon 250",Alt=True )

I use underscore because that's what ME2 reads my keyboard's minus (-) key as, likewise equals is what ME2 reads my plus (+) key as.

Explanation:
Minus resets both meters.  I use this to force myself to pick right wheel only options for a more interesting game (more consequences).
Plus maxes both, allowing you to chose any dialog option.
Alt + Plus sets you to max paragon (and a little renegade).
Alt + Minus sets you to max renegade (with a little paragon).  Handy for end game saves to be imported into ME3 if it turns out to be of worth.  Keep in mind your Paragon/Renegade mattered very little from ME1

Its also worth noting that changing your paragon/renegade values in the middle of a conversation doesn't seem to work.  If you find a grayed paragon option, boosting your paragon score then and there will not make it turn blue.

Thanks for the helpfull advice, but i think i'll go for save editor. I just want to subctract some paragon points i don't feel i had to get!!! Lol, my current shep is soooo mean.
BTW there should be a way to add/subctract paragon/renegade points becouse i had this trainer that upon pressing a key added or subctracted 50 points. All that trainer do is to force bindings from .txt file, making the game very unstable, but in that txt file there are console commands.
There were also one that made all your weapons have infinite ammo, but i don't know the exact code. Now i use the ammoisinfinite=true for the original weapons and the command "initammo 9999" for DLC wepons. A command to make all ammo infinite pressing a buttom one time would be much easyer but i don't know it.

Your additions are a start, but they only allow me to add the 1st level of the power.
"SetRank" does nothing, meaning I have to add talent points everytime to my squad, THEN choose a 4th rank power before going on...
Anyway I can speed it all up? Please?

(BTW, you're my hero!)

I use this method:
i give myself powers via keybindings as already explained, and i get those powers at lvl 1. Since every time you start a mission you have to give yourself back the powers (they don't last after a load screen), it is useless to spend game earned talet points on that powers becouse you are loosing them after every load screen.

i binded to F2 the command "givetalentpoints 20", so every time i start a mission i press the keys to give myself the powers then i press the key to get talent points then i go in the charcter sheet and buy the levels depending on my level.
It's tricky and long, i know, but for me was the most accurate and reliable way to keep the game balanced

Jesus Christ how do you get through these pages? We got any .ini or mod to get Femshep to have both casual and armor version of Samara's outfit? I have the white human texture, just can't find the codes for it.

I started a reference of model names where you can find the syntax for Samara's outfit: link

You'll need to use the armor locker or that other method which disables the Normandy's sound to load it though.

How can I make proper highres tiledshot in ME2?

I used the ME2CoalescedEditor, set the following extra key bindings:

Bindings=(Name="F7",Command="ToggleHUD")
Bindings=(Name="F11",Command="tiledshot 8x8 1024")
Bindings=(Name="Pause",Command="Playersonly")
Bindings=(Name="F",Command="toggleflycam")

I'm still having trouble with the 'black band' issue, akin to what existed in ME1, though. In the latter, this was solved by setting "bUsePostProcessEffects=False" in the [Engine.GameEngine] section of the BIOEngine.ini file.

I searched for bUsePostProcessEffects in the ME2CoalescedEditor, set it to 'false' again, and recompiled; but my tiledshots still show the black banding. Obviously I'm still missing a step.

I'd appreciate it of someone could tell me how it's done.

I find it hard to believe no one makes highres screenshots in ME2 any more. So, whoever you are, please tell me how it's done properly. :)

Thans. But I tried that already (see above). You still get a highres shot with the black vignette around every subsquare (making it totally unusable). What is needed really, is a way to disable the black vignette.

Unless you're at level 30, like me, then it's boring and tedius.
My text file has the command "SetRank" to 3 so I can get the 3rd level of any given power, but the evolved versions aren't working for some powers, like incernate or cryo freeze. The biotic powers are working though all the way at 4, so its a bit strange...

You can change the talent point to more like 99 or higher.
Or you can do this, register you as a user on www.cheathappens.com and download the steam trainer for ME2.
Register and accepted the license agreements, and respect that! Don't give this to everyone!

Something, I'm absolutely sure that you do.

I need some help!

I'm currently on a playthrough and in the midst of LOTSB.  Just landed on the SB's ship and decided to take a break.  I jumped back in-game and can't load any of my saves because they all say "Unknown Area".

What's up with that?  I'm using an up-to-date LOTSB C.ini with a few mods but nothing gamebreaking and I didn't have this issue the first time I played through LOTSB.

Anyone have any ideas?  I just finished an entire playthrough so I could do LOTSB again and now I can't finish it :crying:

Some evolved powers end on _Evolved1 or 2 instead of the usual _Heavy or _Squad or _Radius. Some powers (namely Dominate) don't accept a 4 for the evolved version for some reason; they require it to be set to 5.
If you happen to have these powers evolved on a squadmate, load that save up in Gibbed's editor, you can see the power package listed there, under Raw->Squad->Henchmen->hench_professor(Mordin)->Powers.
Incinerate: SFXGameContent_Powers.SFXPower_CryoFreezeInstant_Evolved1 (here evolved to Heavy Incinerate)
Cryo Freeze: SFXGameContent_Powers.SFXPower_Incinerate_Radius_Hench (here evolved to Area Freeze)

I don't have any unregistered DLC.  The only DLC I have modded directly into my C.ini is the Firepower pack but I've had that for over a week now and it's worked fine.

And as I said, this is my second playthrough of LOTSB and it worked fine then.  I guess I never tried to load a save from it either, though, as I just went straight through it before.

Is there way I can correct this issue through Gibbed's?  I really, really, really don't want to run through the entire game all over again...

Not even restarting the mission works.

The game may think that the DLC isn't registered for alot of reasons.
I don't think Gibbed's editor has been properly updated to work with the LotSB DLC.
You could try to change the level you're in, and try out matching coordinates from another save. Go to Raw->Location, under Base_Level_Name enter BioP_Nor; under Base_Level_select, choose the same. Under Position, set the following values:
X=-194,869354
Y=3635,17847
Z=689,0244
That'll theoretically warp you to somewhere on the Normandy (I presume the Galaxy Map).

Here's the solution I got from another thread

Try adding a 1024 to the tiledshot command, e.g. "tiledshot x4 1024". That completely eliminates the problem in ME2 (and at least partially in ME1).

So my binding looks like this
Bindings=( Name="L", Command="tiledshot x4 1024",Alt=True )

Tested it out and it works for me.  No more black lines.

Question, is it possible to add the laser from the phalanx to stock weapons (i.e. Carnifex Hand Cannon, Revenant etc). If this is possible please let me know.

Also, a question: has anyone tried enabling the "Light Pistol" in the coalesced.ini ? It's listed in several entries under the Automatic Pistols weapon type, but missing from others (not assigned to loaudouts, not in codex; present in cooked packages and weapon types).

The light pistol is probably a toned down pistol used by the unarmored security mechs in the start of the game.

As always, the devil is in the details. :) I already had the 1024 parameter:

( Name="F11",Command="tiledshot 8x8 1024" )

But the mystery is solved now, thanks to you. It appears you can't use the extended grid command any more, like '8x8', the way I did. If you do that, the overlap gets ignored, regardless of your setting. This did it for me:

( Name="F11",Command="tiledshot 8 1024" )

Notice it just says '8' (not 8x8). And it actually doesn't give you an image that's 8x the original size, but 64x (8x8, like I wanted anyway). Do that, and the '1024' parameter gets taken into account, and the vignette is gone forever. :)

EDIT: And the beauty of it all is, you don't even have to turn off postprocessing any more. :)

So you're telling my you do it like this:
GivePower Jack SFXPower_Cloak | SetRank Jack SFXPower_Heavy  as an example.
I do guess you will have problem with the Heavy statement?

I had the same problem after modding the weapons from the Firepower pack, it happened to saves related to LotSB and Kasumi's, the saves from original ME2 areas were not involved.
It happens only if  you exit the game and restarts it.

To solve the issue I had to:
- remove the mods to the Firepower from Coalesced.ini
- remove te Firepower pack (simply delete the directory)
- reinstall the Firepower pack.
After that I started the game and the saves that were listed as "Unknown Area" were correctly recognized.
