OP: I would try uninstalling the game, then uninstall the drivers using the control panel, then run something like CCCleaner or DriverSweeper to make sure it gets all the remnents out, then install the game, then the 195.39 drivers.

I'll try calling tech support tomorrow and see what they have to say...got to be an easier way than uninstalling pretty much everything, sweeping it then reinstalling everything....I am running this on a laptop vs a desktop....i have tried unistalling the physX driver and the game...didnt run a wiper tho....

I think the patch caused the problem. I tried updating the driver, and then reinstalling the game after I disabled the automatic patch installer, but I'm still having problems with any video I try to play. I think running DAO with the patch cause a problem somewhere, perhaps my video card. My tech brother is checking this out for me tomorrow.
The problem I have is that my computer freezes whenever I run any game or graphics intense program. This started after I logged into DAO game yesterday.

sigh, seems more and more lately people cant think through there gaming problems...
what native resolution does your laptop run at?
did you make sure that the game supports that resolution?
did you make sure that you downloaded the latest drivers for the PHYSX program that nvidia uses?
did you use the setup program profided with the game to make sure that the game will be running with proper texture levels and resolution sizes for the laptop?
did you update the 'monitor' drivers for the laptop (yes even laptops have hardware drivers)?
did you patch the game properly and restart your laptop?

To sb.seed.....well gee dude I didnt think about doing all of that.....oh wait yes I did....i've been playing games for a very very long time...I know most of the tricks and they are not work...my laptop meets and exceeds the requirements to run the game.....EA and Bioware shouldnt put a product out that you have this many problems with just to run it....i know all games have bugs but this seem to be worse than most from reading the treads....so yes I did think through what to do....thats why I posted on here for some assistance if someone has the same type of problem not some smart ass comment .....

try disabling different programs that run in the background and then running the game....some programs like symantec cause issues with games....
also do you use a cooling pack for your laptop?
