As to other Geth weapons, there's my Beam Rifle idea I posted ealier, but another good thing to have we be a Geth shotgun. Like this:

Geth Particle Cannon; Automatic shotgun with a 12 round clip, and 60 reserve ammo. Slightly less powerful than the Scimitar, but with a more narrow spread like the Eviscerator, giving it superior range and accuracy. Also has a much higher rate of fire than the Scimitar, and the same shield piercing bonuses as the Pulse Rifle. Good weapon for non-Vanguard classes using shotguns.

Bumping it up to the collector assault rifle standard would make it more viable for use and help those of us who don't have the CE addition. 

Shotgun idea looks great. Another something to consider is maybe a shotgun that fire's moderate/medium damage slug rather than a spray pattern. Trade off would be low ammo and high recoil.
Hmm, hopefully we'll get a few more weapons before its all said and done. :bandit:

+1 for dual pistols. I don't see why you can't handle 2 x Locust. With the low recoil and low weight of the pistol, it'd be ideal. Just make them use the same ammo-pool as a single locust to compensate for twice the power/rate of fire and you can even call it balanced...

I'd like to see some sort of "force field" gun. Something that, when used, sends an extreme force of magnetic/gravital/whatever energy at enemies, knocking them back/sending them flying several feet (Not like the singularity projector, in that it would be described more as a "super vacuum in reverse" than a "black hole gun").

I'd also like to see an electro/lightning gun.

I agree - just read their codex, that shoots down all of the naysyers about how DW isnt feasible etc - The guns have neglible recoil, targeting assists etc - its more realistic than space  magic aka biotics.

It could be an acquired skill with some classes having it from the start - maybe Vanguards.

I still think Bioware could have made Biotics/Tech more powerful, given all classes access to AR's (we are soldiers for crying out loud) and limited Heavy weapons to Soldiers - Only drawback Cain may have been removed.  It seemed that was their initial thought process (the heavy weapons part) and then they switched up.

No, the codex says the only limit to the power of weapons is their recoil, so DW is out of the question, but that is true that it is still more feasable than biotics.

I agree it is weird that the soldier is the only one who can use assault rifles, but I am more fasinated with the soldier's inability  to use SMGs. I guess it makes some sense because soldiers are extensively trained in the use of weapons, while infiltrators are snipers, vanguards are CQB specialists, and the other classes are power based, so they don't need a swiss-army-knife gun.

I usually play a soldier so I would like a new assault rifle (one that is not painted red) with a tactical scope low zoom scope and most of all I want it to be earned during a mission (such as a raid on a merc armory or something), I'm tired of all the christmas presents from TIM or give3 it to me in a pay for weapons pack like Firesteel7 says.
A unsean turian design would be cool.  I think of the asari as probably having somesort of pretty sweet pistols.
Also a gatlin gun might be cool for a heavy weapon but only after getting a new weapon for each weapon class.

Personally, for variety's sake, maybe a pistol, shotgun, or rifle, with a blade of somesort, obviously with an added boost to melee attacks, giving the Vanguards two choices post-Biotic Charge (shotgun or melee?) especially combined with Strength Boost Pads.



Also, a single shot, med-scope, hunting rifle cariant (assault rifle class) sort of like the DMR seen in Halo:Reach.

I really wish they would patch the game game so you would carry two of one type of gun - most of the time it isnt a problem - but I would like to carry the Vindicator and the Revenant that would be nice

Here's an interesting idea, what if you could choose between carrying all availiable weapons for your class, or just two. The trade off would be that the fewer weapons you carry, the more ammo for each one, it would make choosing loadouts more personal, and get that extra 50lbs of gear that you don't use off your back.

yes, bring the spectre weapons back, they looked cool and worked great

:o i also want the spectre master weapons back from ME1. We paid alot of credits for them (it took alot of playthroughs to buy them all) and they were very nice in both apppearance and stats.

A heavy weapon that allows you to use powers in expence of power cells, lowering cooldown times and adding damge and duration. One for each power (Tech,Biotics,Combat). You can't use weapons with the boosters but combat booster makes your melee hurt and shock more. Please don't hurt me :?
