This is due to a combination of two talents activated: Beyond the Veil and Threaten. Removing Beyond the Veil will cause the character to return to normal.

I hope this will help people, or maybe the cause was already found?

I don't agree that it's a bug. He's using Beyond the Veil which draws from the Fade and happens to make him translucent while he's using it. You can see his weapons through him. Getting an x-ray peek into the area around his eyeballs and jawbone makes sense.

I think I have to disagree;)
Almost the same thing happens with an arcane warrior. And the arcane warrior looked different before the patch. The spirits in Warden's Keep DLC also look different now from what they did before.

Do you have any talents activated when your Arcane Warrior goes 'see-through'?

It's interesting that the Warden's Keep spirits changed when Awakening came out.  I don't know of anything they changed that messed with character models.  It wasn't mentioned in any patch notes.

While Beyond the Veil does cause the user to become completely translucent, he also glows blue. Adding Threaten, which has a red glow, cancels both effects causing the character to appear solid (except in a few areas). If the character only has Beyond the Veil active, you should still be able to see him properly (blue and completely translucent) in conversations instead of that weird blur or missing body parts. I believe it is a bug, because the x-ray isn't working for the entire body.

Not only the spirits in Warden's Keep DLC, but also the ones in the gauntlet now look kinda weird.
Am I alone with this?:(

And my Arcane Warrior only looks like this, when I have maxed out all Arcane Warrior talents and have Combat Magic running. If I don't get the last talent in the Arcane Warrior talent tree, she looks just fine no matter what other sustainables are running.

I haven't played Warden's Keep after I've played Awakening yet. Nor have I used the Arcane Warrior talent.
