Whenever I'm at any of the loading screens, I hear the 'low health' heartbeat for a few seconds. What's that about?

Dunno. I sometimes hear it and sometimes don't.

Yes, but when I played as my male soldier, I heard nothing.

Playing soldier - Noticed the heartbeat appearing later in the game, possibly triggered by an event or level requirement. I checked an older save and there was no heartbeat.

My male soldier hears it all the time on load screens, at random. Might simply be a design decision and not a bug. You'll notice there's also an ekg among the loading screens. This might simply be referential to the Lazarus project or the mystery device on Shep's heart.

I thought it appeared after obtaining an artifact, since I noticed it shortly after that, but now it isn't there anymore. Wonder if loading that old save cleared it. I'm curious what it's all about, if anything.
