You know how much money Blizzard got from me for WOW. Absolutely nothing.

I wonder how many people are in Orzammar running around on their $25 mount.

AH! I put Orzammar! *face palm*

I have Dragon Age on the brain. You have to admit, they sound very similar.

FYI the cool kids run around Dalaran.

The smart ones are in Ironforge/Ogrimmar and are mages.

TRH is terrible. I don't care what happens in WOW but this, combined with how Blizzard is boxing SC2 makes me think Diablo3 (the Blizzard game/franchise I care about) will be milked to death. It makes me very sad to think I'll have to buy 5 starter boxes of Diablo3 just to play each class - or some BS.

As for Blizzard Devs, Erich and Max Schaefer co-founded and work at Runic games which recently released Torchlight. David Brevik now works for Turbine as creative director.

No kidding. It's antics like this that make feels dubious towards Diablo III. I was following it eagerly at first until developer comments and word of mouth hinted at potentially similar shenanigans. This mount does look neat. I would probably buy it were it sold for $1 or $2. Maaaybe $3 if I played WoW enough to justify it. But $25?! No freakin' way. The expansions aren't much more expansive than that horse. $25 for a single perk is ludicrous.

I must admit. As much as I can't stand WoW, they gave me a week of free time I'm currently using. Yes. I brought the damn Sparkle Horse. I love the damn thing. I love the goddamn horse!

Am I to understand you're budding into someone else's business when it really doesn't affect you in the slightest?

Because, you know, that makes you a douchebag. Just so we're clear.

Oh well, they exist because of them. They'll cease to exist when all of them are gone.

hi, this is unnecessarily hostile. i am just asking if someone bought an item for a game they just stated they do not own. please don't address me unless you're going to be civil, thanks.

Fixed.

Nobody is being taken advantage of. The price was clearly stated, and Blizzard did not force anyone to buy it. The people who bought it obviously thought it was worth the cost.

They got more than I'm willing to admit, I must confess.

I don't really get the problem with the mount, except its price is ridiculous even for what it is. If it was, say, £5-10 cheaper then I'd be tempted (if I still played). Blizzard aren't doing anything new with the service, as there are a bunch of other MMOs that do sell items in-game (DDO sells races, doesn't it?). All they're doing is tapping into a market that's been there since Day 1.
