Very good point.  I mean, look at dogs--  a mammalian species on our own planet.  But for us non-dogs, we have to take a quick peek between their legs to tell the difference.  And the "girl dogs"* don't have obvious mammary glands unless they're preggers or nursing.

*the actual term being censorable.  What's next, is "doe" going to become a curse word?
