Never got BW points from game registration/cannot purchase points

It wasn't until I got the BioWare bazaar email that I found out that I was supposed to get 1500 BioWare points just for registering Mass Effect 2, and it wasn't until the Kasumi DLC came out that I realized that I never got my points.


So, after emailing EA customer support, and them telling me that "the problem is more complicated that initiated perceived, and that they're working on a solution."

I really don't see how the problem could be complicated. I didn't get my points. I get 1500 points free of charge.

To compound the issue, I can't even purchase any BioWare points. I have more than enough money in my account, and the address, the number, the expiration date, etc. are all correct, but it keeps telling me that my card can't be verified.

I think you have BioWare points (used to purchase BioWare DLC) confused with Tokens which were used in the Bazaar contest. You got tokens for registering your games, not points, which were only good for the Bazaar.

Then why wouldn't the CSR say just that, instead of:



"Hello,

Putting all of that aside, I still can't even buy any BioWare Points, despite the fact that I have enough money in my account, and I'm typing in the address exactly as it is on my bank statement.



I know such an inquiry belongs in a customer service ticket, and that's exactly where I put it. Sadly, I have yet to hear back from them.

Trickfred is right, you do not get any BioWare points from game registration.
