Ok I know she appears to be and is indeed a psyco but doesn't anyone think killing flemeth is in bad taste? I mean she does save your life and stuff  and I for one never kill her unless I'm romancing Morrigan.

In a way C9316 i can see why you think killing Flemeth is a bad move because she did indeed save us but think of it this way you get a lot of experience points for killing her.(HAHA)

I kinda agree. As a character you don't even know about the DR and only Morrigan knows what is in the Black Grimoire too (I think Shale mentions this at one time too).

Flemeth herself isn't very forthcoming about her reasons either. She doesn't deny it either though.

So, in the end I go with the fact that Morrigan is in _my_ party, so anyone attacking her (even in such a roundabout way) will stop that. Even if I have to get lethal on them.

Plus, like revan11exile says... you get a lot of experience points! ;)

I'm the badest ass in all of Thedas for killing my saviour. My excuse afterwards " To what end did she save me in the first place". Well I guess I'll never know.

I actually believe Morrigan's account of what's in the grimoire...and even if it's not exactly that, Flemeth implies there's *something* evil she's cooking up for Morrigan that she assumes Morrigan finally found out about/figured out. Even though Morrigan can be difficult to deal with, she and my PCs always become close friends and so I am doing it to protect my friend, as well as keeping Flemeth from continuing her body-snatching templar-killing ways. Yes, she saved your life, but likely for her own ends, which may have been as simple as keeping you alive to stop the blight/keep it away from her hut, or she could have more nefarious plans for you in the future. Flemeth is a good example of why apostates are illegal (not that I agree with that in most cases but for Flemeth, I do).

Why I killed Flemeth? Well besides the fact that she freaks the crap out of me? Usually my PC at least befriends Morrigan, and there no way I am going to let Flemeth soul rape m friend. BFF for life man.

And like its been said. EXP MAN!

Do not fret...Morrigan will be able to defend her herself against Flemeth shoud the occasion ever arise. She will learn from the real grimoire just how to do that.

I didn't kill Flemeth...there is no point because as Morrigan says...even if you do *kill* Flemeth she isn't really dead and will rise again...but that will take a long time, long enough for Morrigan to protect herself.

If only Morrigan changed her outlook on girl loves girl....sigh...no magic can do that...or can it :)

In my opinion killing her makes very little sense (if you are rping and not just playing for the xp/loot).

She doesn't pose a real threat to anyone besides Morrigan. She only kills the ones who seek to kill her, a simple kill or be killed sort of situation.

I can see why the chantry for example would see her actions as dangerous but a closer examination of the facts shows the chantry and the templars working for it are the real threat if you ask me.

Well she's killed all of her daughters, and will continue killing any other daughters she ever has...yes maybe she will just find a new body eventually but at least you tried to stop her and postponed her next killing for some time. And who knows what happens to the fathers, if there are any...

Except you don't kill her. Just like Michael, Jason et al, she's never really dead.

It upset her plans to lose her corporeal form as she obviously intended to take over Morrigan's body while Morrigan was still pregnant with the Old God. It remains to be seen how long it will take for her to return but I'm sure a DA sequel will do it.

It depends on what kind of character you play. I always play characters that put their friends above all else. The kind of people who would never dream of getting Alistair executed. As such, if my characters are friends with Morrigan, then they would kill Flemeth to save her. In addition, let's not forget that Flemeth is an ancient abomination. Who does have a lot of blood on her hands. She did save your life that is true but she didn't do it out of the goodness of her heart. You are a means to some end she has in mind. You don't really owe her. But if you feel that you do, then you can always take her up on her offer and lie to Morrigan.

Having read TST & TC, I probably won't kill Flemeth in this play through. I don't think Flemeth is as insane as she comes across being in the game. She was very lucid when she met with Maric in TST. At least two of the predictions that she told Maric have come true; that he wouldn't live to see the Blight ravage Ferelden and that Loghain would betray him.

I might change my mind later on though.  It's a tough choice considering Flemeth is hardly innocent in general.

Killing her or not doesn't really matter since Morrigan has already explained that Flemeth is an immortal abomination or something evolved passed an abomination.

I think Flemeth had already predicted that you would kill her in a way.

I figured since she doesn't "really" die according to Morrigan, then what the hell, kill her for the XP and the fun of slaying a high dragon. :) If she really isn't dead and is meant to come back in another game or DLC, then she still will regardless of your actions. Albeit probably pissed as hell at you and definately an enemy now, but all the more fun. However, I had my doubts too about killing someone who saved me regardless of her intentions. Just seemed kinda wrong. But it was fun nonetheless! :)

I wish we could get to her join our party....just for her banter alone, it would be amazing, especially if you still have Morrigan, the daughter/mother spats would be great.

I don't think that Flemeth rescued you without a purpose, she did it because he had something in store for you.

I can see Flemeth for seeing you would kill her, and allows it for some greater purpose then we find out she is not an abomination but someone who learned to control the demon and then we can be like WTF?
