It's kind of a direct slap in the face to Tali. She's the only one in there and she has/had a crush on Shepard, so lets screw on her work station because that would be cool even though we both have nice big comfy beds.
I'd only accept that it was a slap in the face to Tali once a) she showed any acknowledgement whatsoever she's aware it happened at all and

So what? It's our game and we can slap her in the face all we want.

Garrus is up there too, but Femshep kind of ruined it for me. She was a little too suave.

People tend to be biased in favor of their favorite romance. The way they can say Garrus has the best romance is the same way that you can say Thane has the best romance, Miranda has the best romance, Tali has the best romance, Jack has the best romance, etc. Now, if we were talking about Jacob...Jackal904 wrote...
I don't mean to offend anyone, but how can you say Garrus has the best romance? His whole romance subplot screamed fanservice. There are two romance related conversations you can have with him not counting the actual love scene. His love scene wasn't bad. It was funny in a good way and a little emotional, but I wouldn't say it's the best.

Kasumi comments on it. I forget how it goes but its something like "Engine room, really? Right where Tali works, Shepard how could you?" Its not Tali saying it but the implication that she knew about it and was at least somewhat distressed by it is there.

I'm just wondering Night. Why do you think Miranda wanted the engine room?
Honestly, I don't know. I just have theories.
All we really have to go on is the fact she says she only settles for the best, but what this means exactly is unclear.
She could be just acting out a fantasy. We forget sometimes that Miranda has been staring at Shepard's body for two years and learning absolutely everything about who he is. His command, his will, his spirit, everything she envied or came to see in him. And the Normandy itself is a recreation of the iconic ship which was his symbol, a representation of everything he is to the galaxy and to her - so is it odd, then, that she might want to have him at the heart of that ship?
Like I said, I only have theories.

What? FemShep being confident and suave and trying to relax Garrus ruined the whole thing for you. BWaaahh!
I thought it was awesome.
I don't think I liked any romance over the others, they all seemed to suit each of the characters pretty well.
Well Miranda's does bug me, because she has a bed and Shepard has a bed, and they do it in the Engine room because she thinks it's the best place?Alrighty then... Not to mention, her bra doesn't fit her properly. You'd think a woman with her amount of intelligence would know how to get properly fitted for a bra with her breast size.

Odd? Not if what you said is really true. Seems streching though to be honest. The only odd thing would be that she never unless I'm mistaken hinted towards any of this. There also seems to be a lack of dialog, correct? It's possible that in part they may have done it this way simply to differentiate from the other romances.Nightwriter wrote...

Oh now you've done it. Launched me into discussion.
Here's the thing - I seriously don't think Miranda's needed any differentiating. I mean, why? Miranda is already probably the leading NPC for ME2 with Yvonne Stahovski voicing her. Not only that but I'm pretty sure Miranda's is the only romance that has that cool unlockable kiss scene thrown in there. There's even a hug scene.
So why would they feel they need to make it more special? Makes no sense to me.
