Hey, Man. I work at Gamestop
Sure at some stores the workers flop
Though you can't say every worker is the same
Most don't even bother to learn your name.
But not me, I'm the best GA for you when you come to shop

Gamestop employees with clout?
Now that's what I'm talking about!
But let's wait and let's see
  When comes Mass Effect Three
And then maybe we'll work something out.

Why'd we leave all the statues behind?

The statues weigh many a pound

  To give a rebuttal
  That poor little shuttle
Would not even get off the ground

If heavy lifting's too much of a strain
Then Grunt's tank would've had to remain
   And you could forget
   That whole minerals bit
'Cause extraction couldn't be explained

Your concern is entirely misplaced.
They can carry the cargo with grace.
For didn't you know
Their new transport can go
In the remarkable Hammerspace?

Grunt's tank's a good point, I admit
But I think that there's more to it
  The craft must provide
  Ways to strap things outside
'Cause the statues would not even fit.

Those sculptures are heavy as lead.
On the tablets, the language is dead.
So I want most of all
For the ultimate haul
Just the Statue of Liberty's head.

The discussion is a bit wacky
Shepard's not Kasumi's lackey
she might like to steal
but that wasn't the deal
besides, all that stuff was tacky

There once was a man with dark eyes

Who was in for quite a nasty surprise

He hacked the door at the base,

to get shot in the face

and died on the spot with no prize.

Haha, I see what you did there
For Jacob you surely don't care
I will now empathize
As I hated "...the priiiize"
And they gave him dumb outfits to wear.

I keep thinking Jacob's not so bad
he has flaws but is not a cad
so what if he's curt
and can't really flirt
at least, he isn't like his dad

You make a good point there, Peppard.
For Jacob fans it must be hard
People just like to tease
And make him seem a sleaze
--I hope I didn't seem like a ******.

Oh you were fine, Jacob's fun to mock
though I wouldn't mind more about Hock
that guy's accent was crushin'
part scottish, part russian
even if that is how south africans talk

Jacob's fans sure have been tested
It's not like Shepard was molested
And of all of the LIs
   The man with the prize
Is the only one they show bare-chested

It's a shame for us hetero dudes
'Cause the sequel's been made by prudes
   Mirada keeps her top on
And it cuts once Tali hops on
ME1, at least, had side-boobs

This thread is awesome. I have to come out of the lurker zone to try one.

Infiltrator gameplay is tops

My enemies are scoped and dropped

While cloaked I run behind cover

To set my sights on another

Then its BOOM headshot

Well, Garrus is a handsome stud
After ME1, this scene made me think "wut?"
  It felt kind of dumb
  I got a headbump
While I expected to see a turian's butt

Shepard's Shoulderpiece is admirable
To Legion though, it was quite valuable
When Shepard asked why
He could only reply
"No data available"

Limericks take time to master
can be hard to think of them faster
don't expect much from me
because as you can see
im not Alraiis or kglaser

I have to say I agree
that playstyle suits me
pop the cloak
watch the enemy croak
wish I'd picked that for insanity

nope, I chose to try a sentinel
and for the most part it went well
until the biotic bubble
I had such trouble
guess I needed cover to excel

There was nowhere to hide
and no matter what team I tried
they fell so fast
they couldn't last
I got so frustrated, I almost cried

When I was just about done
I decided to try a new gun
pulled out the cain
fast kill, with no pain
had no problem with the rest of the run

Our glorious mass effect memes,

grow ever more popular, it seems,

I pray for the day when

Pacino pulls out 'little friend'

Producing a CAIN from his jeans.

And though game-to-films we might despise

A film surely will materialize

And you might boo and hiss

I say, 'hmm... heavy risk'

Will the director still include 'the priiize'?

Limericks have a reputation of being obscene
but in this thread, we've kept them PG-13
still I misread that line
the dirt was all mine
because what I thought, was not what you could possibly mean

Damn, why do my limericks always end up that long XD. I call this one...

MY FIRST TIME

My very first try with the suicide mission
Was not really the succesful edition
  I won't lie
  I expected people to die
I'm just a girl without ambition

I let Miranda lead the first team
Tali as tech specialist was supreme
  We closed the door
  I was ready for more
The first part gave me self-esteem

Miranda led me towards the captured crew
I had to pick someone as an escort too
  I won't lie
  I expected people to die
So I turned to Jack and said "I choose you"

For the biotic bubble, I did not doubt
The biotic had to be someone I didn't care about
  It was an evil plan
  But Jacob was the man
Because he was someone I could live without

Jacob flared up his biotics, raising his arms
But in the end his incapability raised the alarms
  Jacob struggled and tried
  But I yelled and cried
When Grunt was taken away by seeker swarms

No time to mourn, as there was more to do
Grunt's disappearance made me feel blue
  But even with Grunt gone
  We had to move on
So I said "Garrus and Samara, I choose you two!"

The rest stayed back to hold the door
While my team ventured out to kill some more
  We went in deeper
  Found a human Reaper
That was something different than what I was hoping for

We fought a great battle, followed by victory
I wanted to blow up the base, TIM said "I disagree,
  not to create a fuss,
but the data could help us.
Hand the Reaper data over to me!"

I rolled my eyes and said "Illusive Man,
you're the leader of Cerberus and I'm not a fan.
  I don't feel fear,
We don't need this right here.
We'll do it without it. Yes, I can!"

Suddenly the human Reaper came back
So we launched another attack
 After that thing died
 Garrus started to slide
The thought of him dying gave me an heart attack

With the place blowing up, we had to run
Then there was a scene that was really fun
  I didn't expect
  To see something like that
When Joker appeared, holding a gun!

Back on the ship, there was one more thing to do
Because Grunt was sadly someone I couldn't rescue
  I couldn't believe my eyes
  Because to my surprise
There was not one coffin, not one but two?!

Apparently I had to dig another grave
Mordin died, he was always wise and brave
  I won't lie
  I expected people to die
But I still went back and loaded an earlier save

THE END

A few new characters I thought would be fine
But the main story didn't much shine
  Now all that I do
  Is gather my crew
So I can listen to them whine

I thought the new crew would be fine
But all they do is repeat the same line
  With calibrations to do
  Or research to peruse
The characters can't really shine

We are not all lame

And I won't point you to the door
I'll also remember your name

i'm starting to realize
how the second game is idealized
i miss the priceless storytelling
even your enemies were excelling
me1 is worth its price

"this is an outrage!"
yells Udina on the stage
but we gathered a good bunch
Anderson has a powerful punch
the Normandy is no longer in cage

Saren was a little misled
he wanted to kill you, but instead
when he had to admit
he couldn't possibly quit
poor guy shot himself in the head

please don't misunderstand
mass effect 2 is really grand
but i can't help to feel
the sequel has to kneel
to its predecessor's command

(kasumi)

quickly moving weightless steps
what she wants, she always gets
shining eyes and sneaky grin
she's about to do something grim
maybe you can glimpse her back
