I see a few people here saying Mark Meer's voice acting is monotonous. Well researchers discovered that it projects authority and confidence better than varied pitched voices. As a result, they have more sexual partners.

To be fair, Ben Stein has the personality of a brick to go with his voice of a particularily bored assembly line robot.
He also was born without a brain. Tragic really.

Also..

Yes because being a lawyer, a speech writer for two U.S. Presidents, never mind his entertainment career makes him born without a brain.  He might be boring, but please dont imply the man is stupid.

Hardly an impressive resume, and he's a crappy actor anyway.
And yes, he is stupid. He's a creationist.

And your resume is better? By all means  please enlighten us with your list of outstanding credentials.

I'm going to avoid the second statement to avoid this turning into a flame war over religion. I will say though I'd rather believe in something and be wrong, cause I lose nothing, Rather than believe in nothing and find out I was wrong losing everything.

You're the one making a big deal about credentials.
Because apparently one's job makes one immune to criticism about their level of personal intelligence.

I'm going to avoid the second statement to avoid this turning into a flame war over religion. I will say though I'd rather believe in something and be wrong, cause I lose nothing, Rather than believe in nothing and find out I was wrong losing everything.

Creationism has little to do with religion, it is more the deliberate spread of ignorance.
No Christian I know for instance subcribes to the idiocy of creationism.
Your statement seems illogical to me, if you believe in nothing then you are not disappointed for having lost what you didn't believe in but whatever.

If you're dumb as a brick there are alot of jobs you cant get.  That's a fact. Your bashing of his intelligence is misplaced. You dont graduated with honor's for Columbia University or get valedictorian from Yale Law School by being stupid.

Let me try and dumb it down for you.

Believe in God + Dying = No Afterlife
Therefore nothing is lost because there was nothing to lose.

Believe in Nothing (No God,Afterlife) + Dying = Afterlife / Judgement
Lose the chance of pleasurable afterlife, by religious belief that shunning God earns you damnation or punishment of some sort.

Again though I'm going to try and avoid  turning this into a flame war so I'm just going to leave it to -  you have your beliefs  I have mine.  Please dont insult people however by calling it ignorant just because its different from yours.

Alright, when you say creationism I assume you are refering to the belief that the world was created in a literal six day time peroid correct? So many people seem to get this wrong. Creationism is simply the belief that the world was created by God. It is not a reference to the Biblical account. Also, I watched Ben Stein's documentary. He was not promoting the Genesis account.

Irrelevant. One can be educated and still carry a deep personal stupidity.

Ah yes, that.
Not to turn this into a religious debate, but that argument has always amused me, it assumes the whole thing is a binary condition.
Believe (in God) or don't. However, given that there are many different beliefs and interpretation of a god or gods, it gets a bit complicated. For example, what if belief in your god angers the one "true" god and you are in fact headed for a worse punishment than one who believes in nothing?

Again though I'm going to try and avoid  turning this into a flame war so I'm just going to leave it to -  you have your beliefs  I have mine.  Please dont insult people however by calling it ignorant just because its different from yours.

If one spreads ignorance, I shall call them ignorant. Intelligent design is ignorance because it places personal belief before evidence.

I refer to creationism in the sense of intelligent design, the belief that God created all animals as they are.

No, pascal's wager is retarded.

1) Afterlife according to which religion? 'cos no matter what you believe in, someone else believes you're gonna burn (or freeze, or reincarnate as a worm, etc).

2) Logically, a God of Atheism is more plausible than Yahweh. If you acknowledge that faith is an act of assuming something is true without evidence, then it can be a reliable measure of irrationality. Therefore, if there's a deity that's interested in choosing sensible people, he would not choose those with faith.
