Hello Fellow Mass Effect fans.

I just started a playthrough as an Adept. After have played as Soldier, Infiltrator and Vaguard (several times each Posted Image) I decided to have a "biotic expert" game's experience.

What evolution do you suggest for Singularity power?

Heavy singularity or Wide Singularity?

I'll play on hardcore/insanity.

Thank You for your assistance.

I prefer wide over heavy, the extra radius comes in really handy. I'm in the middle of my first adept insanity run right now (about to head to collector ship). With wide singularity enemies are caught for plenty long and I have never wished I could hold up more then it already does.

Already two replies... thank you fellow Mass Effect fans.... I forgot I ask if singularity can affect armored targets. In that case it can be a very powerful asset.

Singularity does affect enemies with protection but they shoot through it in a short while. It is still really effective at locking down any enemy regardless of their protection.

I usually go Wide until I get Pull up to 4 for Pull Field. Then I switch to Heavy because I use it less because Pull + Warp/Throw becomes my regular combo.

Both are good. The radius is always nice on Wide.

I usually go for heavy myself.

The capacity to "hold" 6 instead of 4 is quite useful against Husks. And of course the extra duration gives you a nice amount of time to send a warp in to blow the thing too.

As for armored foes, a singularity won't lift them up, but it will stall them / root them down if they're within its sphere of influence

Wide singularity... it's better to focus on it's area of effect than on howmany it can hold. You have warp so once someone is moving you can hit an entire group with unstable warp.

Varren, fenris mechs, gethprimes and Heavy Mechs are not affected by singualrity.

I'd use heavy singularity only on missions where you're facing tough enemies that close the distance quickly, such as Krogan and Harbringer. On other missions, where the enemies are more numerous and weaker, I'd use wide singularity for the extra crowd control it gives.

This^

If you have enough element zero then just re-train before missions.

Heavy singularity, I love it against those damn pesky husks, Heavy warp and boom!
