Unfortunately thanks to that, I am dead. I wonder how a dlc will squeeze me in.

Basically, I want to start the next game with my PC and his girlfriend Leliana killing darkspawn in the deeproads, and the PC discovers something that makes him have to address the "Morrigan Question", and have to tell Leliana his and Morrigans dark sescret. Then they find Allister and one other dude/duddess and meet this new threat.

In the middle of a battle with dosens of darkspawns, a mudcoverd dwarf appears. He draws out his bloodcovered battleaxe and cleaves the nearest darkspawn! Over the scream of a dieing darkspawn you hear the dwarf shouting:" Evmiller, the king has fallen! Allister is dead!".

- Alistair (he is too much of a hero to lose)
- Wynne (she has a spirit of the fade to deal with and I am ever curious about her son)
- Flemeth (in every form, what if you didn't kill her, what if you struck the deal with her, what if you killed her. There was a hint that she is immortal. In a way. )
- the vials of arch demon blood that disappeared (where to? By whom? Why? Will it hunt us?)
- Howe' family, his son seemed to be an ideologist and a scientist, if I recall right.
and tonnes of other things.

Looks like several gamers wants to see what happens with the Dark promise ^^
Hopefully it won't necessaily go bad though. If Morrigan didn't love the PC, then I guess the consequences should be disastrous, as there is no telling what she will teach the kid. But if Morrigan really loved the PC (just like in my story), then it should potentially be a good ending. We should end up reuniting with Morrigan and rasing our perfect kid together. And groom him / her to be my successor to the throne.
THIS. PLEASE GOD. THIS.

A nice expansion set or DragonAge 2..who knows. Continue your character or play an Orlesian Grey Warden.

I can't think of one compelling reason to add an expansion/DLC for the Black City.

I would like some DLC to make Anora more fleshed out. Literally and figuratively.

Like in NWN2 they just ignore the hero of the first game, saying "he" had a falling out with Nasher. That was a cop out if ever I saw one.
But if I can say "okay game, at the end of the first part, my PC did X (married Alistair/Anora, died, etc.) and the game then reacts accordingly . . . so you go see the ruler of Ferelden at least, and get to determine who it is.

As for an expansion for DA:O *MAJOR SPOILER* I know this is the spoiler forum, but this is a fairly big one.
If you do the summoning science, you can summon a man named Arl Foreshadow. Pick his pocket and you find a note.
Its a list of books he needs to pick up for future encounters, the first being a book on Fereldan to Orlais culture or something (Basically we're going to Orlais), the second a book on spirits and offspring, and I forgot the third and fourth.
So chances are we're chasing Morrigan west to Orlais to find our mega child.

What I could see happening is Morrigan's child turning up (I'm convinced that she left too quietly when I refused to let her do the ritual, her being a sneaky SHAPESHIFTING witch thief and all), but not so that we know who he/she is to start with. As for whether it would be evil or not... who knows; maybe that might depend on some decisions from your previous game, along with things such as the political states of the dwarves/humans/elves etc. back in Ferelden.

My hand is numb from hitting ESC so much.
I can't imagine replaying this game and having to suffer through it again.

I had a really bad feeling about Morrigan since she refused to tell me her plans, the bugger. No I did not romance her. She hated my every move. Tsk tsk.

You are transported to another realm in the middle of a dark cave. A woman in red with a clay imp apporaches you. Also now you can devour souls

Well how about grasping the concept that an RPG is maybe not your cup of tea then?
As for myself I certainly want to see my PC and Zevran/Alistair + most other companions face whatever they need to face next together (like BG2) and not pulling an Exile (disclaimer: yes I fully realise KOTOR2 wasn't developed by Bioware) again
Why do you think DA2 is supposed to happen more than 30 years in the future? In my opinion it's gonna deal with Blight weakened Ferelden and many nasty oportunistic countries (Tevinter, Orlais, whatever qunari land is called) seing a perfect oportunity to expand + ensure cheap working force and would probably happen in 5-15 years I could be totally off here though.

I like *true* RPGs, which this is not.
DA is more like going to see a movie; it's already shot, processed and in the can. Bioware allows to make some choices, like what sort of softdrink, snack and what chair you will sit in during the movie but none of it changes the film...

Just a guess - it would leave room for mods catering to those who want to see 'their' characters and the NPCs from the OC following on from the end of the OC, whilst not having to worry overmuch about making sure that there were 'intro' stories bringing every possible ending of the OC up to date in the sequel.
Yes, there are only 4 endings that 'count' as separate endings...but there are at least 3 (dwarves) x 3 (redcliffe) x 2 (ashes) x 2 (elves) x 2 (loghain) x 3 (anora) x ...well, lets just say over 216 different combinations of endings (not to mention all the different possible 'friendship' states you could be in with each of the possible party members). You want to write a sequel that takes all of those into account? I wish you the best of luck.

What exactly would you define as a "true" RPG then? I was under the impression that the story, character development and NPC interaction were key elements in an RPG?
Even if you see Pen-and-Paper RPGs as "true," your adventure would still be guided by the story of the Game Master. Or do you consider sandbox RPGs to be the "real" ones? If so, surely you couldn't have bought a Bioware game expecting something like Oblivion. Because that would be madness.
