You've got her either saying, "Suck it, b*tches!" or "Look at my trophy!" or "Yeah, that's right, I'm doing the commander in the f*cking engine room!!"

Omg, none of these suggestions are really painting Miranda in a good light, guys.

"Oh, sorry, I didn't notice Shepard was your first and only love, and that you've cried days after his demise. But I'm afraid he's an idiot and fell for my "Boo hoo, my father's so mean, he gave me this hot body (Well, they messed up Yvonne's face pretty badly, but that's another matter), tons of money and all the skills I currently posess, but he wanted to use me, just like Cerberus is using me right now!" and didn't notice you silently admiring him."
(Sorry, kinda pissed right now, doing the Hammerhead missions on Insanity... D:)

I don't think the "romance" dialog between Shepard and Miranda allows for any other conclusion.

What the hell? What happened to having fan love for one character not meaning you have hate for another?

As I said, I'm pretty pissed (for more reasons than just the Hammerhead, but I won't elaborate on that), and I have a pretty dark sense of humor.Nightwriter wrote...

I'm actually indifferent to Miranda as a character, but I'll take any chance I can get to get to make a discussion about Tali.

Oh. Well ok.
Actually it quite startled me when people started bringing up Tali when they discussed Miranda's romance scene.
I honestly didn't think anything of it. Each of the romances feel like they exist within their own separate parallel realities to me, without one touching another. I feel like Tali is for Talimancers, Miranda is for Miranda fans, etc...
So of course Talimancers think of Tali first! That's all they can think about. "Omg what about Tali you monster?!" because they're currently romancing Tali. I guess I can understand that...

True, most of the romances involve a different kind of personality for Shepard anyway, I doubt Tali would fall for a Shepard who went with Jack's "Just using her for sex" "Romance" (Yes, using two seperate pairs of quotation marks, for emphasis.Nightwriter wrote...

But then again, she's interested in you, even if you went full "Evil, baby orphan kicking, Renegade" in ME1 and treated her like a filthy alien, but that's a bit of a messed up story on Bioware's part. (Or it's a completely different Tali altogether, because after all, during the battle of the Citadel, she can tell you to either focus on Sovereign or save the Council, implying that it's not just Shepard who can have a varying personality)
Oh well, drifting way off-topic, but my answer remains the same as my first post in this topic. (Just try to filter out the hate)
Just telling the other females to back off, and to show off her priiiiiize. (Sorry, couldn't resist)

Here's my theory:Collider wrote...

The engine room is neutral territory - neither one is boss there. Seeing both Shepard and Miranda as forceful personalities, the symbolism may be important to them.
As for the "rub it in" theory, Miranda can be pretty cruel if needed, but I think she's above petty insults like this. The way she acts it's also not an act of seduction on her part, rather, it's her being drawn into the relationship by the emotional entanglement she's initially so wary of. That theory is easily exposed as crap if you seriously consider her personality.

That is a great answer, actually, I guess I just kept seeing Miranda as this "Cerberus b*tch" who lightens up a bit after her romance. But you Miranda fans obviously have more insight in (and experience with) her character, so if you're certain she's above "rubbing it in" I'll take your word for it.Ieldra2 wrote...

Can someone please explain to me how Miranda is "shameless"? Did you ever follow her romance and pay attention to how she acts and what she says? There is absolutely no indication that Miranda sees Shepard as a trophy.tonnactus wrote...

Play the romance and pay attention before you spout misogynistic crap.
Ugh...sorry to everyone intending a serious discussion with real arguments, but this had to be said.
