Personally I like pies better.

I enjoy pie more because it's awesomeness between two layers of structure, whereas cake is either all structure with the occasional band of frosting, and usually way too much icing. That buttercream stuff they use, i find far too sweet these days.



so for me, it's pie all the way.

If we are including ice cream cake, I still like pie better. I'd put ice cream cake more in the ice cream category than I would the cake category.
