I have the control rod for the Stone Prisoner Quest, and I was told to go to Honnleath, but there is no town on my map by that name, nor is there a quest.  PLEASE HELP!!!

Same here, and the link above has nothing to do with that problem.

Yup. That link above is to do with downloading DLC and getting it showing in game etc.

my DLC is installed fine.. it shows up in game. but the honnleath never shows on my map.

Loads of people are having this issue. with both stone prisoner and wardens keep.

Yeah -- this isn't a matter of the DLC not showing up... It's showing up fine! It's just bugged after the initial encounter.

I finally got it to work ! Here is what I did, and it has nothing to do with downloading DLC, because if it is installed fine, it REALLY is :

- I got the quest from the merchant, he told me to go to Honnleath, of course the city didn't show up on the map.

- I went elsewhere, anywhere else on the map should be OK.

- I saved, logged out and quit the game.

- I launched the game once again, logged in and loaded my save.

And this time Honnleath was showing on the map, it worked. I've been able to go there and finish the DLC properly. Hope it helps :)

When any DLC is installed.... once have to restart your game for it to properly install it.... you even get a pop-up regarding that.....

Are you sure ? I got Warden's Keep to work right away the first time it was downloaded, without restarting the game.

I did as well and I've definitely exited the game after going to new areas and still Honnleath does not show up. :(

Glad that the process worked for you.  I guess I will have to tinker around with it to see if I can get it to work.  Sad that we have to try to manipulate the game in order for something that should already be working to work.

I played a few hours of Dragon Age on launch day before downloading the armor and Shale even if it said I could download it. The next day I download the armor and Shale and both install well and I even get to see the armor in my inventory and Sulcher's pass without restarting the game.

The armor works fine and I'm already using a complete set. Shale however is bugged/ broker. I have the rod in my inventory but the map marker doesn't show up and the quest is already in my competed quests tab. This sucks. I'll probably finish the game first before I attempt to get Shale to work.

I also tried activating the quest by getting the rod and then going to a different place on the map. Save, log out, exit, restart game, log in and then resume/reload save game and the map marker is not there and the quest is still complete. Oh well.....

LOL so you're in the same boat as us eh? That's too bad. I sure do hope that they do a work around this. I rather liked that whole mission and Shale too (when I had the 360 version)

Yup. I'm in the same boat and the boat is over-crowded already. Too many people are having this problem and I hope Bioware is coming up with a patch or at least instructions on how to remedy this problem.
I'm beginning to agree with the other naysayers out there saying that they should have just included the the extra-content right off the bat meaning that Shale and the Armor didn't have to be a free DLC.

I can't believe this game has so many bugs. It's a good thing I am only experiencing a non-game breaking bug. All the other complaints from other players are just worse than one DLC not working. I have yet to even try and get Warden's Keep since that too seems to be bugged. At least I have the Dragon Armor working and it rocks!

I didn't have a problem with Warden's Keep. (I am on PC) Nor did I have a problem with it on the 360. I didn' thave a problem with Shale on the 360 either though, for that matter.

the thing with Shale is that "it's supposed" to complete the 1st quest and then grant you a second quest... something probably kept the 2nd quest from firing... try disabling the content, force loading your save... save again, re-enable content and load save

It's a commen problem, got it myself. Tried lot's of different things to get it to work. Guess we'll have to wait untill bioware decides to patch the problem.

Heh.. JironGhrad, I'll try that again.

As far as soldier's peak. I didn't have any issues with it, however I noticed I still have a quest and I can't get back in the fortress! Oops? or .. is that not supposed to be the case.

I think it's a bug that's related with the downloadable content following a certain quest in the storyline. A lot of people are reporting bugs including warden's keep disappearing from map to not being able to talk to Shale anymore. This might be connected.

I finally got the Honnleath icon to appear on the map.

I just followed the instructions from this thread:

I hope the icon doesn't disappear again.

the warden's keep closes once you exit the area after completing the main plot (if any side plots are left unfinished you can't return inside to resolve them)
