Hey guys, I don't make mods, never edit them, usually just enjoy them, but I have stumbled across a mod or two that is annoying me with small, minor issues, that I would like to fix, atleast for my own version of play (not to re-release). If you guys need to know what mod it is, it is the Leliana Item Set by Nezroy. All I want to do, is to know how to make item restrictions for the armor/weapons Nezroy created, as it has some issues if worn by other people anyway, to make it where only Leliana can wear them. Thats basically it, if anyone can help, or point me to the right direction, it would be much appreciated.

you probably need to ask him for b2b file, seems to me it´s the fastest way :)

Thus you can edit it anyhow you want to

Alright, I am assuming you are talking about the dadbdata file that he included as a secondary download for the B2B stuff. I have that, but I am not really sure what I am doing (as stated before I don't mod). Is there a place I could look or something that would tell me how to simply add the restriction to leliana?

I´m not very skilled in that myself, so I suggest you go and check DA Toolset wiki? :)

Alright, I finally had time to look at the b2b files, and tried a simple overwrite which appeared to work. I imported the dadbdata file over to the toolest, found the files he used, and modified one of the pieces of armor files (nez_sal_bot_gen.uti) and just added the addition Restrict: Leliana, saved and exported the file, then reinstalled the mod, and threw the above file in the core/override folder, and loaded up the game. It worked and the particular piece of armor was restricted to Leliana. Now seeings I am a complete newb, and am surprised it was that simple, will this style of editing work without any issues, or is there something I should be aware of as far as potential issues/conflicts?

As long as you're just playing around with one mod for your own amusement, what you're doing is fine. It's reversible, after all.

If you want to play with multiple mods as well as your own, or publish your mod to other players, have a look at the wiki information on compatibility.
