Hi hoping someone may be able to help.
Getting quite far into the game, but suddenly the armour upgrades and ship enhancements are grey and locked. i have bought upgrades to research, have loads of minerals to research, but cant get into these options. Is there a patch or is there soem other reason this has happened...?

The options are grayed out whenever there is nothing to research at that time. I can't find the post now, but a developer said that when you buy an upgrade from a store you don't have to spend resources because they did not want players to "pay" twice for one upgrade.

Or it might be that you need to upgrade something first so you can upgrade something else.
