I'm recording some temporary voice-over to replace the robotic voiceover as I prepare an alpha version of my prelude. However, I'm running into a problem with certain lines of the conversation that were converted to cutscenes. Here's a rough set-up of how my cutscenes are lined up with the conversation:
Line 1: Go to cutscene, which includes lines 1-3 <--- get error message when I preview
Line 2: skip <--- get error message, when I try to preview alone
Line 3: skip <--- get error message
Line 4: Basic conversation resumes <--- works fine
Line 5: Go to cutscene, including only line 5 <--- works fine
This worked fine with the robo-voiceover. But now, when I try to preview the line in the conversation editor to get the line associated with my voiceover wave, I get the following error:
E: 16:24:37 - RPU process failed with a return code of '1'.
I: 16:24:37 - no FESL allocator defined
E: 16:24:37 - Could not process all input sound files.
E: 16:24:37 - .wav file is not 24000Hz
My wavs are the same format as the other wavs that are associating fine with their lines (I even re-recorded them to make sure). Is this being caused by my multiple-line cutscene? If so, what are my solutions? If not, what else could be causing this error?
Is there a way to disassociate the line from the cutscene, get the voiceover working, and then reassign it to the cutscene (I've had bad luck disassociatin lines from cutscenes in the past). Or will I have to reshoot the cutscene?
