I can't even play the game without random crashes so I've stopped playing for now, and yet I've managed to not 'rage quit' bioware or EA.
Its an asethetic concern.

But someone somewhere saying 'We hear you guys' would be nice, and would take like five minutes and reassure quite a few people (believe it or not). Having nobody say it leaves you with the feeling that if you don't push it, eventually it becomes a 'oh well, they bought the product, who cares since we have their money' problem that gets ignored forever. It also leaves the people who didn't say anything with no responsibility to fix a thing, since they didn't ever say they would. And that sucks.

That was a joke, right?
Do you know what happened on the internet when Infinity Ward announced that there wouldn't be any dedicated servers for Modern Warfare 2?
I'm sure that was a joke, for surely you're not going to pull the 'PC Gamers are Better Behaved' card between the lines.
This isn't rage. This is an issue small enough to not affect sales, but important enough (to enough) that we don't want it ignored just BECAUSE ignoring it won't affect sales.

look at it this way... lots of people have lots of problems and the time it takes for them to sit down and work out a reply is time taken away from "fixing your problem". Besides which, these aren't official support forums... they're user help forums, which have some of the Bioware staff occassionally browsing and posting. That said, it's after 10pm on Sunday at Bioware... and last I heard Canada is more hardcore (on a governmental legal level) about people getting their time off than even we are in the US. So sit back, chill out... drink a beer if legal to do so where you are, and get ready for bed... tomorrow is a new day and I'm sure if they're not working around the clock to get this fixed, then they'll be at again in just a few hours.
I'm way ahead of you, I'm already hammered. Furhhrhshhhh Biowharre you jerrrrks! *urinates on own shoes*
Thanks for a more reasonable response though, better than 'who cares about your issue?'. I sometimes forget that other Canadians might be sleeping at 11est, lol.

All Pc gamers are elistist retards!!..
I enjoy stereotypes. But really it's the same with any large company..cable and satelite probably have the worst customer service.. EA is up there with telephone companies. You can cry murder at the top of your lungs but you have to understand.. they have 1000 people calling murder at them every day.. After a while it just becomes background noise. If they know a problem is out there they'll most likely fix it at some time or another. There's absolutely nothing you can do about it. Well there is .. but you'd have to be really good at organizing people to rally together to fight it.

Then you were... joking? You were being a jerk on purpose for the sake of looking like one of those PC stereotypes that others are quick to go 'Uh, we're not all jerks' in response to? Thats good to know. I'm glad I misread your tone and that you were just trying to be funny, haha.
If not... uh... heaven forbid you go back and read and take notice that I said by all means, the PC players need their issues looked at first since they're much more serious than whats going on with the 360, we're just looking for aknowledgement that its being looked at. And that the issue is small (but important enough to those who its important to) enough that if it doesn't get aknowledgement, than it might never.
You wouldn't want to make 'console gamers' look like the polite ones, would you? Isn't that the opposite of taking the high road?

Haha, thanks. Now we need a Wii/PS3/360 suxxx comment and we can all ride off into the stereotype sunset together.
Having worked for an extremely large company that got murder screamed at it all the time (hint hint, they make ipods), I fully understand the whole eye-roll and sigh that goes along with 'yet another issue'. Moreso its just the worried heart of mine that understands how the numbers game works, and since ignoring this issue won't hurt sales (unless the vocalists get loud enough or customer support ignores the problem long enough that it ends up on gamespot or something), then why get around to fixing it or admitting that there is a problem (since admitting would mean you had to fix it)?
It really doesn't matter what system its on, PC or otherwise. Hell, it doesn't even have to do with games. If theres something not working thats bugging a group of people, and bugging them enough, theres no harm in pressing a company for as long as you can, while the issue is still hot, searching for some sort of answer. Leaving it too long means it gets forgotten about and ignored. And as a guy who still has his original cds (all five of them!) for Baldurs Gate 1 and played the game again as recently as last year, I'm hoping to not have a game that I throw aside in sadness at the customer experience when I'd love to be one of those people that keeps buying the DLC for the next planned two years.
Just because I console game now, something that has only happened in the last three years, I don't think I deserve to be treated like a leper, do I? (this is less directed at Bioware who put out the EXCELLENT Mass Effect on the 360 first, and moreso directed at a few... unsavoury characters who use PCs exclusively).

Do you truly believe that they're so swamped that they cannot address any of these posts with one response, all of the developers and supporting cast? All of them are that busy? None of them in the past 5 days have had NO time to type one sentence really?
To me you sound like a whimpering little girl. Or better yet an Ex gf who i forgot to call and break up with. how about have patience be happy u can play it at all and if there isnt a quick fix patch or a response to you within a week(considering the game hasnt been out for much more than that) then maybe .. just maybe get up the courage to call the number in the back of your booklet and speak with an agent. I did and they fixed my DLC issue on the spot. thx.
P.S hows that for trolling.

Just because I have this on a 360 and not a PC or PS3 doesn't make complaint not a legitimate concern, Achilles stop being an ass and but out of these affairs if the existance of the console version of Dragon Age Origins offends you so much that you'd go out of the way to prove that you are a moron who will offend PC gamers like myself, 360 gamers like those in this thread and even PS3 gamers should they stumble upon this thread.

You're right. If I had used sarcasm and complained about my game experience instead of pointing out specific issues and how/why they took place, surely I would be a better human being because of it.
Also, I should probably go into other peoples problem threads and act dismissive of their issues because its not one that affects me or my system of choice.
Thanks for teaching me how to 'QQ like a PC Gamer'. I'm so sorry I've been complaining all wrong this whole time!
(haz I learned the sarcasm part yet?)
@Systashank
Actually, calling the number on the back of the book is a good idea. I just hate phone trees, otherwise I would have tried it already. As much as the OP might not have constructed his thoughts in a reasonable manner, he has a point that it wouldn't hurt (and would alleviate a few worries) to just have someone say 'We gotcha, we're looking at it'. And getting something officially out in the open in text rather than tell all the people looking for answers 'some guy on the phone told me today...' goes a lot further.
If you were going to troll, try to be less helpful next time. Use more blanket statements like 'u r all stoopid'. Ask that guy above how a PC gamer comments, because hes giving out lessons for free as he says, aha.

Lol. Now I do not know who is worse the OP for being an impatient cry baby or you for supporting it. Believe me Bioware receives thousands of emails and posts daily and they do not have the man power to reply to all of them. If they did then they would have less time to work on fixing the bugs in the first place right? Once it has been reported there is really no point in replying to every single email or thread posting about it. They have stated it is being worked on that is all you need to know, contuing to rant and post and mail more will only slow the system down further for people who also need support. You honestly want them to hire someone who's job it is to read every forum post and email and say "It is being worked on thanks" ? Get a grip.

The issue is that nothing official HAS been said regarding this issue. Not a thing. A peep. A word. Or all of this would have stopped. The problem is we've got actual evidence that an EA admin completely dodged this specfic issue, but went about asking everyone else about every other issue for case numbers, specifics, or just responded with a 'we're looking into it' or 'the answers are here'. The problem is, that when someone said my achievements aren't working, the same EA admin asked for what game, and when he got a response as to what game, there was no reply. Every other one or two question issue asked got responses except for *anything* related to this certain one.
So when you combine that, with nobody from any company having said anywhere (I've read all the tweets, blogs and forums possible), it leaves people with an uncomfortable feeling.
That there is absolutely no harm in trying to get clarification on.
I'm beginning to believe it somehow harms you, however, since it was so offensive that people are looking for answers to this that you felt like you needed to name call and interrupt something that didn't affect you at all. Did an xbox kill your mother? I know some of them overheat, dude, but except for that one case in mexico, nobody has ever told a story of it burning a house down with people sleeping inside.
EDIT:
@Onyx
The OP went a little overboard with his 'Screw EA and Bioware!'. I wouldn't go that far, especially since it would be rather dickish to kick a company that has given me so much over the years in the balls (not EA, Bioware), but I can certainly feel some sympathy for his issue, as well as contribute everything I've been able to gather about the issue.
Like I said, it seems like an issue that won't hurt sales, so unless people get annoying about it until someone binds themselves in a promise to fixing it (by admitting), its worrysome that nobody will ever get around to it. And might as well strike while the anvil is hot.

I emailed customer service on the Dragon Age part, but because this is brand new I expect that they are flooded with inquiries. I may contact Microsoft, however you pretty much have to call them as their email system seems to be regulated mostly to hardware and not Xbox Live issues, which is humerous since its a paid service.

I have heard of the X360 issues and lack of support, and I feel for you not receaving help (though I play the pc version) but structure your claim in a better fation. Numerate your issues in sperate lines, offer advice/solutions, refran from bad language. And ya, ea did somewhat **** up the game, but I dont think its so bad as to hinder your enjoyment of the game.
Hope things work out for you and you get to fully experience the awesomeness that is this game.
