I thought this topic was talking about romances. What kind of romances do you engage in Onyx that involve bloo...nvm.

Ever play Dragon Age and getting the Romance right after being ambushed?  Lol

I'd say no, but please, make the relationships more meaningful.. i mean.. not just 2 cutscenes and that's it (besides all the talking), make it more... uhm.. first of all, longer and with more content to it, more cutscenes between the couple and stuff, more dialog, more options, maybe the option to have a drink while talking, something. (Not just hugging in bed or sitting... all this after you finish the game, i wouldn't do any of this if i had a war to win, lol)

But nudity? nah, it just ruins the magic.

ME3 definitely should have nudity in it. It was done right in ME1 so I can't see them screwing up with it in ME3. Maybe it's just the environment I live in and the way I was brought up, but it baffles me how taboo nudity and sex in general is in today's world. It's immature to constantly lust over seeing people naked, but imo it's just as immature to not be able to accept it.

i like how this is a 27 page thread.

So do people want nudity in ME3 for the art and beauty of it? Or are they just horny and want to see some boobies?

Both. And I also want blood and gore, BUT!!! (THAT´S IMPORTANT!) NOT at the same time but turn-based. Like, at first a lot of exploding heads, mutilated bodies etc during battle and then a good f*ck on the ship to relax.

In short, just like in Real Life only with alien chicksB)

Nudity for developing a relationship towards a fictional cahracter?... people are getting crazy around here...

ME 1 had so far the best "sex" scene I saw in a game and it still doesn't do anything to add something special towards the game. Yesterday I saw the Heavy Rain scene and I just thought how cheap it looks. Animated non real human bodies aren't percived well by the human brain. It rejects them and focuses on the thought that they aren't real. So, don't expect sex-scenes to look realistic for a long time along the road. They will always have this odd feeling. And based on this odd feeling, it will ruin the immerssion.

So rather a short, non to real look scene that leaves more to the imagination than kreepy sex-animations...

I would disagree. I like the scenes in ME1 or in the Better Sex scenes Mod for DAO though I totally dislike Real Life porn.....

If it takes away from the development of the game no...it does not need it.Nudity used just to get a reaction or slightly boost sales = bad nudity. When it makes sense to have nudity like in games like Dante's Inferno,Heavy Rain and God of War it worked because it kind of flowed with the story.Nudity in the sense of seeing an alien topless or nude dancing in one of the bars = bad nudity.Nudity along the lines that ME1 had if not over done with the love interest's in ME3 would be okay but they dont really need it.ME2 didnt need nudity to be successful.Wouldn't be surprised to see ME3 go either direction tho.ME1 had a bunch of yuppies crying over a blue ass but that shot didnt last long so i didnt see the issue.ME2(aside from Jack's revealing outfit which still doesnt show anything) avoided nudity and still was successful.

If it hurts the game no...leave it out...If it is used to enhance the story then sure but dont over do it just so some nerds can replay the scene over and over

I can't say anything about the "better sex scene mod" as I didn't use it. As I said, I doubt it adds anything to the game.

ME 1 love scene had nothing pornographic, so comparing it to porn is wrong. I also said I liked them best. Still it doesn't change that animationed human bodies look unreal. You maybe liked the idea or fantasy of the scene mainly the parts where the cam faded away, but you can't make me believe that you thought the motions of the characters looked real. Thats why I say leave more to fantasy and don't ruin it with bad animations.

Well it doesn´t need to be real imo, it needs to be funny. The Mod I mentioned has terrible clipping (even more so because I use different bodymods than the creator) but I still think it adds to the game.

The thing is, if a game has Sex scenes and romances, they should SHOW something.
A game doesn´t NEED to have that - but ME HAS, and then it should be done in an enjoyable way and not with pants on (DAO) or not showing anything (ME2).

i don't mind either way. i liked ME1 scenes as i did ME2.

but the only gripe i have about the ME2 scenes and it could be because they are each individual, is the models still look a bit jerky/animated(Garrus & Jack, others scenes a bit to short). In ME1 the whole scene 'flows' better.
Eg. for the Garrus scene, the models look a bit too distanced where their foreheads don't quite touch/nuzzle. i want it to look more natural and intimate. in ME2, the 2 models movements don't look like they 'fit' eachother.

i hope Bioware does good and doesn't just go all 'oh yepee nudity!'
i want tasteful scenes-with/without nudity. (side note: i absolutely disliked the DAO scenes *shivers*)

The sex scene in ME1 was very good and tasteful.

The scene with Miranda in ME2 was good, but more of a fanservice IMO.

The game is rated M. Do something with it. ^^

Show FoxNews the finger. :D

Nudity doesn't bring in a more mature feeling to the game, it only cheapens it. What does need to be done though, is more indepth conversations before you do get in a relationship with a character.

You can make a love scene classy as you want without nudity. The only reason nudity is in anything is to bring cash in for people who like to see some skin.

The romances in ME2 were very well done, the ones in ME1 were fantastic as well.

It isn't so much the issue of nudity, but how that nudity is handled in my opinion.

Really tired of this argument. As I have mentioned before, the entire history of figurative art says otherwise. And why must every single sex scene be dry humpies with body armor? Sorry, just breaks the immersion a bit.

Furthermore, skin on its own doesn't cheapen anything. It takes context to do that.

If there is nudity in ME3, I would prefer it that they keep it the way it was in ME1, very toned down and with Depth of Field Effects.

That way it doesn't get tacky and feels more tasteful.

They can't even be bothered to remove the helmet for conversations, drinks, kisses, what makes you think they will bother removing anything else? I am expecting love scenes in full combat armor, with helmets, for ME3.

That would be better than the sex scenes in ME2.

At least it would be funny.

It would be nice.

But all the same game is not for this love.

But I'm still in favor of adding rather than against.

Nudity is the least - I want to have a relationship which isnt spoon fed up to the last battle and then just plays out in a scene.

LI relationships should be set for most players from ME or ME2 so dialogue and interactions should be in the game for each mission and hopefully some hub world interaction as well.

That said - sex scene in ME should be the minimum with however they choose to play it (nudity/partial nudity/no nudity) as ME2 was a cop out.

I mean use your imagination BW - under covers, in a pool or shower scene, hypnotic asari "meld" with some neo erotic / hypnotic images - something - all of that without nudity
