This ME1's sex scene was tasteful. It was full of taste. It was not lacking in the taste aspect.

We should not forget that sex scenes can be funny to watch if done right.

I think the biggest reason is because all of the love interests, even between the females, have unique bodies and would require more than just the two default sets recolored (blue) to look right. Miranda has a VERY unique figure in the ME world, jack has all those tattoos (Probably more on the rest of her body), and tali is just completely different from anyone else on the female side. Thane wouldn't have the same body, and neither would garrus. About the only one that you could get away with reusing from the previous body sets is jacob...and i guess kelly, too.

It's not like there's NONE in the game, in the garrus scene femshep's taking a shower and you can totally see some naked collarbone seamlines.

it was my opinion, just because you don't like my opinion, doesn't mean I can't say it. If You don't like shooting, fine to me as your opinion. How ever, little hard to have WAR story without shooting.

But not impossible!  Just ask teenagers in the back of a car.

However, I would like to have tasteful, grown-up scenes in a bed - considering that Shepard has a really nice bed.  It still makes me sad that the most nudity you get to see in ME2 is Jacob.  Granted, it was the good parts but still!

I liked the way nudity and sex was aproached in ME1 and Heavy Rain... I think the third game should return to these aproaches...



Besides... boobs sell too... so instead turning the game into a complete doom-clone... return to some more mature rpg.... or wait... the witcher 2 is coming... and it DOES look better than ME2

Now before you start proclaiming my virginity and demeaning me please hear me out.

It will make you care about the characters more, by literally exposing themselves to you the relationships become far more intimate.

Its not that taboo anymore because its becoming more and more frequent in gaming. Recent games like Heavy Rain and God of War have had it and was met with little or no fuss.

It pushes boundaries and thats what this series is all about. Taking the RPG genre as far as it can go. Its not too crazy of an idea and when done appropriately can be very tasteful and add to the gaming experience of ME3.

Thoughts?

God of War's nudity was cheap and tasteless and obviously done to generate controversy, that's the opposite of what I want to see in ME3.

didn't fox news run a whole story on game sex with ME1 and God of war as their selling piont
and ignore the whole "Taste"(which I support) aspect

I support tastefully done nudity for ME3 only for the Squadmates that you can have a romance with. Strippers throwing their naked breasts about the air in clubs? No. ME1 had very well done love scenes that didn't feel childish or showing what little they did for the sake of showing it. Push the limits again Bioware don't let the misinformed Fox news slow you down.

Just watched Unfaithful again - most of the sex scenes in that movie dont have nudity - Diane Lane had brief nude shots before and/or after the deed.



The problem with the scenes in ME2 and Dragon Age is that they stuck out - they werent organic. Its like BW knew they had to do them but also had to skirt the "issues" and just over analysed instead of trying to make what they wanted to do - Maybe it was the suits forcing this on the devs.

If they dont want nudity, then they dont have to include a sex scene. The fully clothed love interest sequence is just silly.

Interestingly enough the majority of femshep's love scenes wouldn't really benefit from any nudity (With the exception of Jacob's), it's really just a lack of shirtless male-shep that's a little weird for those scenes. (Although maybe we'll get some shirtless dlc costumes down the line :E )
