Liara's rear looked just fine in ME1. Graphics have come a long way, son.
Edit: wait a minute, your Scandinavian and against nudity? Isn't that, like, against the law up there?

EDIT: Though the Unreal Engine is pretty lackluster when it comes to player models as there really isn't much in the way of phsyics. They are more akin to walking bags of plastic more than anything.

I want to see what the MT framework by Capcom is capable of with nude-ish character models.
They are using that engine for Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and Felicia happens to be on the roster.

Cool, then obviously don't talk to the sqaudmates and if you do make sure you aren't going to romance them then. You aren't being forced into those scenes you make the choice to see them, so obviously if you dont want to see them then don't romance and if you do then cover your eyes or shut off your tv or better yet when they come up to sleep with the captain tell'em you don't want to look at their pixels and send'em off to their quarters.

If they dont want nudity, then they dont have to include a sex scene. The fully clothed love interest sequence is just silly.
Thank you. I've said this about a dozen times on this forum. They have all the plausibilty of a censored sex scene.
No problem. Common sense isnt so common, especially in game developers it seems, where despite ever striving for realism characters are desperate to screw one another after a few hours of interaction.

This argument should be stickied and automatically be shown to everyone who enters such a thread.
AGAIN: A game doesn´t need romances or sex scenes, but if it has - like in ME´s case - it should be done right. That involves nudity.
Same goes for the asaristrippers btw, imo. If they don´t want boobs, don´t give the player access to strip bars........... It´s just ridiculous to have strippers who don´t show anything.

That´s truly interesting. But it doesn´t mean anything.

seriously i fully agree with the above, the scenes in both Dragon Age
and ME2 were more ridiculuos than romantic. Fade to black or return to
ME1 style scenes in ME3, please

While I can't fully explain the rationale behind the laws, around here they don't allow full nudity in clubs that serve alcohol, but it doesn't stop people from creating a "pseudo strip-club" atmosphere like the ME clubs have.

BioWare shouldn´t obey to ridiculous laws in their games. Otherwise FemShep will have to wear a Burka in a few years, we don´t want that, right?

Bring on the Burka. We don't want to offend anyone.

i started red dead redemption and got to a cut scene that shows a completly naked woman haveing sex with a dude so i really dont see the point of keeping nudeity out of mass effect when rockstar is able to have it in all their games with no fussTheFeelGoods3 wrote...
Not only does it have a nice ring, but what a great way to end the romantic relationships?
Now before you start proclaiming my virginity and demeaning me please hear me out.
It will make you care about the characters more, by literally exposing themselves to you the relationships become far more intimate.
Its not that taboo anymore because its becoming more and more frequent in gaming. Recent games like Heavy Rain and God of War have had it and was met with little or no fuss.
It pushes boundaries and thats what this series is all about. Taking the RPG genre as far as it can go. Its not too crazy of an idea and when done appropriately can be very tasteful and add to the gaming experience of ME3.
Thoughts?

If its like ME1, YES.
If its like ME2, NO.
If its like God of War, HELL NO.
Partial Nudity, side shots, that kind of thing works.
Full on nudity is entirely unnecessary.
Having all their clothes on is a big joke. Might as well not have a romance scene if they're all wrapped up.
ME1 did it right. Hopefully ME3 goes back to that.

I'd much prefer the culmination of our relationships with the love interests to be like ME1.
Nice, slow scenes, soothing music.
You know, so that we know its ROMANCE, and not BLIND SEX.
