Everyone understands that you can have nudity in a game without it becoming pornographic, so realizing this is hardly a hallmark of maturity. It is strange to read some posts, it's as if the attitude is that there is something wrong with people who don't desire "tasteful", "romantic", "mature" nudity for ME3.

There are heaps of great books, tv shows and movies that include both without being porn and unless you never read, or watch anything but porn I don't really see how that can escape your notice.

Hm...now that I look at it like that. The nudity which was tasteful and mature in ME1 might not work so much with ME2. Bah. 

Yeah, that is a pretty good point.  I would ordinarily say I'm okay with some nudity as long as it's not full-out porn (M rated games should be treated like R rated movies, in my opinion) as long as it's tasteful.  But with everything I've heard about the Jacob and Miranda romances, tossing nudity into that mix would just be distasteful.  Also despite being a fan of the alien romances, I have to say I'm not that eager to see naked Garrus...

Agreed. ME2 creates a context in which nudity would just feel dodgy. ME1 was better. If bioware can go back to the way it depicted the characters (the female characters in particular) and romances in ME1, I think a bit more nudity would be ok.

I still don't know what the gamers in general were complaining about the game itself though. If it was about continuation from COD4, then what could you except? I thought it was a fun game while it lasted me.

But I shouldn't get on about that game, it has nothing to do with anything here at the moment.

Right, back to whether we should all get girlfriend/boyfriends, if nudity in a game is causing today's young children to shoot up their schools and how women are portrayed in them.

Seriously folks, aren't there more important stuff to care about? Like the story, character development, quality of voice acting, attention to details, making sure the game is bug free and so on. The nudity and the sex is the LEAST of the things I care about.

I really hope BioWare doesn't puss out with this kind of stuff in ME3. It's not a big deal to me, but if they feel that nudity would add to a particular part of a game and they fold just because some ****** wingnuts don't like them, it would be a tragedy. I would have thought that, if anything, this controversy would only help them.

I'm also a firm believer that nudity is less harmful then violence. Show some skin, and that's bad...show blood, death, violence, horror, that's okay...that seems messed up to me.

I agree with you completely.  Although, if BioWare doesn't include it in the game as standard, they could always include a code with every new purchase that unlocks the more mature content.  Strippers stripping, more mature sex scene, etc.
