Say I hit some enemies with a Singularity, and then someone uses Pull or Throw on that group, is there still a BOOM?
Do all biotic power interactions cause explosion/damage?

The combos you can do with biotics don't cause booms, with the exception of the warp explosion. Warp explosions happen when you warp an enemy affected (i.e. in ragdoll mode) by pull, singularity or the lift part of slam. But you can also combo throw with pull or singularity, greatly increasing the effect to a 'weightless' target.

So, for best Direct Damage being done, Warp has to be part of the biotic combo equation.

Well yes, you're not really supposed to use the other powers for direct damage. They're more for crowd-control (singularity to stack opponents for a warp explosion) and indirect damage (throwing someone into a wall or out of the map).
Also, remember that any weapon damage against a target affected pulled or singularity is doubled - often it's a faster kill to pull an enemy and then shoot, rather than just shoot or pull+throw.

Oh yes ... I love pull.
Pull 'em to drop 'em down a big hole.
Pull 'em to shoot 'em.
Pull 'em to be a convenient target-out-of-cover for an incineration blast that hits all of the dude's friends.
Pull 'em and propel 'em with a shotgun (at long range) off a cliff.
Pull 'em and curve a throw to hit 'em from the side and below ... and hit 'em with another well-timed throw to send your foe sailing off into the horizon ...
And occasionally ...
Pull 'em and hit 'em with a warp.
So yeah ... rather than use warp after a pull, I usually use a warp to strip armour or barrier, then pull, then something else.
It's a variety thing.

Not all. I, for one, was annoyed that Dominated guys can't be warp-exploded.

when you get dominate rank 2, then you can warp detonate them (dominate rank 2 gives dominated enemies biotic barriers)

No, you can't warp detonate them. You will only destroy the barrier just as you would on a barrier-protected enemy not affected by dominate.
