Hi all.
Apart from the shocking frame rates, choppy sound and frequent freezes during combat for up to 20 seconds, I'm really enjoying DA:O. Now I've managed to fight my way through to the end game I'm all the way up to the main gates of Fort Drakon but having accessed it and watched my little trail of blood drops wind their way from Denerim Palace District to Fort Drakon the game has frozen on the map screen, complete with flashing "loading" doobrie and won't let me go any further.
I've even reloaded from a few saves back and replayed about 2 hours of the game but it keeps doing it.
Thoughts/ideas/abuse please.

Okay so you did the Market District, Alienage, Gate Battle, and the Palace battles and it is freezing before Fort Drakon?

Problem solved: fixed it by uninstalling the game and reinstalling it.
It froze on the map screen after the blood drops had made their way to Fort Drakon. Got it working now though, thanks for the reply anyway :-)
