My system freezes about every 15 minutes now.
I played at least 10 playthroughs before the update and never once did it freeze.
Now, I can't get Origins to play without it freezing constantly.
I am going to have to stop playing as it will eventually screw up my PS3.
It is like unplugging your computer and not turning it off correctly.

Any news yet on a fix for this?

Just hope you're in Europe or Australia. Seems Sony got the patch to them, but decided to screw over NA players.

To be honest I am surprised we got this news today. Seems Europe thought they'd get it later than us in NA. You never can tell. I hope this all works out and the patch is golden. I was getting used to checking this forum everyday for good news. I guess it'll be time to switch over to the new DLC forums when I get it.

Oh, now that I think of it, can someone confirm the patch is working smoothly?

Hey guys, i was very happy to read that the patch is released, cause i started to play DAO with the patch 3.3.

It was unplayable, now I've downloaded the patch and bought the DLC's, BUT the freeze problem isn't fixed.

I played 1 or 2 hours and my freeze problem wasn't fixed.



I hope that u understand my crappy english, cause I'm german.



Freeze at:

Orzammar 3 times in 30 minutes.

after that i could play approx an hour, then freeze at Branka.



I don't know what to do, i love this game and want to play it >.<
