I didn't really expect to see patch till store updated but its still a little sad that other nations got earlier then NA. I guess they have different deployment methods then us oh well whats half a day after 3 weeks

"We are very pleased to announce that there will be a PS3 patch available later tonight for the Playstation 3 version of Dragon Age: Origins. The patch is expected at 12 Midnight tonight PST for North America. We do not have an exact time for Europe, but we hope the times will be as close together as possible.

This patch will fix the recent crashing that was caused by the upgrade to the 3.3 firmware update. It will also fix the in-game DLC store to show free DLC content redeemed with promo codes and it will also fix the bug with darkspawn trophies. So again this patch will fix:

    * Crashing caused by the 3.3 firmware update
    * Missing free DLC content in the in-game store
    * Darkspawn trophies

Big thanks go out to the team and to the good folks at Sony for making this a priority to help us launch The Darkspawn Chronicles which will be available starting tomorrow.

Darkspawn Chronicles will be available for the PS3 in North America at approximately 4pm PST tomorrow May 18. It will be available for Europe on Wednesday May 19, when we know the time, we will let you know.

UPDATE - The patch is now live in Europe. We are working with Sony North America to ake the patch available to North American fans ASAP."

About the patches region issue i got a Hong Kong version of the game (area3) with the first patch from USA and i never had any problems. Maybe its because USA and Hong Kong version its bouth NTSC games...who knows

Im probably gonna have to wait and see if almost everyone its not having issues before updating to 3.30 and get the patch. Post your experiencies with the patch here people and thanks.

woot i started a brand new mage origin campaign and just ran thru the fade really fast with no issues

After downloading the patch not only have I been able to play without freezes up until now, but finally all the free DLC (like the things from DA Origins) appeared and are available. I'm happy now. Thx for the patch =)

hmm made me download 1.03 patch on origins then when i put in disc for awakening i got a 1.01 download

1.03? Mine was 1.02

could of swore it said 1.03 could be 1.02 but i thought that was the patch on the awakening disc
